Yes. Umaga faced Team 3D in a Tag Team match at an independent show, booked by Booker T. During an after match melee, Umaga grabbed the title belt and hit the dudleys with it, shortly before that picture was taken.

Umaga has caught heat with WWE management for it and will be dropping the Intercontinental title to Jeff hardy as punishment.

No doubt Vince still doesn't see TNA as competition though.

Edge is injured and will drop the belt on Friday, there will be most likely be a battle royal to determine the new champ and he will make his first defence at The Great American Bash.

The logical move would be to put Kennedy back on Smackdown! and have him win the title. He was set to win it anyway before he was misdiagnosed, and I feel the title would do him wonders. I wouldn't mind Kane with the belt though, although to be honest if he was going to get another run he should have got it before he got rid of the mask. Batista is already set to face Khali at The Great American Bash, so I doubt it'll be him, unless they change the match and have the title on the line (I hope not!) Hopefully Kennedy will win the Battle Royal and defend against Kane at The Great American Bash.

If not, I see Kane being giving a run, he's sure earned it and it would be the logical decision if they don't move someone to Smackdown! as he was the head contender anyway. Maybe a Batista V Kane V Henry V Kennedy Fatal Four way with Kennedy winning to set up the title match at The Great American Bash. Probably Batista hits the spinebuster on Henry with Kane out of the ring, Khali comes in and gives him a chop, with Kennedy coming in, pinning Batista and ending up winning the match. Just as long as Mark Henry doesn't get the belt ;)

True, but he shouldn't be WWE champ, his finisher is the Firemans Carry and that poorly applied STF. Even his promos are stale now, he used to be entertaining. I blame the WWE because he used to have a decent moveset.

Your comments are interesting Cong: I can't remember the last time WWE wasn't braindead nonsense, but I always keep track of what's going on and lob some critique it's way. I never really watch as a fan of wrestling bu moreso as a fan of the industry, if you get me.

As for TNA, the last two Impact's have been a real improvement on recent form, but ever since Russo came, I agree with you, it's been a joke booking wise.

Finally, ROH: I haven't really seen anything up to date recently, bar some bits of the PPV which by the way looks great. Danielson returning can only mean great things.
Watched Joe vs Morishima last night, was amazing! Maybe my only criticism would be it was too short, but when you have zero rest holds and 100% stiffness, it can be forgiven.

WWE is it's usually Brain-Dead Vince dominated rubbish. TNA is in a Russo inspired funk (I missed a couple of episodes and about three title changes???), even ROH seems to be in a lull.

I haven't watched Smackdown, Raw or ECW since before Christmas.
Wrestling doesn't really interest me anymore, perhaps I outgrew it. I don't know. I'd be more than willing to hand over my mod powers to someone who can prove themselves worthy.

EDIT: I don't think this whole Benoit thing did anything to promote discussion here, since some are horrified and don't want to discuss it at all, others are finding out their info from reliable sites and trying to make sense of everything on their own, whereas some just don't care.
