As for Bischoff, he has that "not McMahon" charm that I find difficult to resist.......

The highlight of both Cyber Sunday and Raw was Bischoff.

Watched it yesterday. Pretty good, Dx getting smacked up was a highlight as was Shawn Michaels antics backstage. Didn't bother watching the booker/show/cena match though.

that`s as maybe, but that`s not the point. they may be a bit poor at present, but it`s still the fed for story based programs.

Oh well, I'm going to watch Cyber Sunday tonight then annoy Shooby by telling him how great it was tommorow. Seriously, tv is trash these days. Some people who post here need to accept that and learn to enjoy it.

yeah, i caught that and it managed to raise a wry smile and make my heart sink a little both at once.

you do? i must`ve missed the story on the great TNA fan lemmingfest of '06...

this has largely desceneded into an area not worth salvaging, but i have to point out that saying anyone is too "high maintainence" for WWE highlights what a lowest-common-denominator program is has become.

and i`m afraid i have to side with shooby about respect for the history and traditions of the business. even if a lot of it IS getting whizzed all over by WWE, without it`s history, you wouldn`t be watching them do so.

I don't claim to know everything about wrestling. Grow up.

Seriously, you're a bit too high maintenance to be watching WWE, go back to your TNA.

See? You dont know something that happened only a year and a half ago! WWE and Spike TV("the low budget channel") reached a mutual agreement to discontinue showing Raw on the channel. It is largely accepted that Spike ended the deal(or at least initiated talks about terminating the contract), and instead decided to show TNA and UFC instead of Raw, in an attempt to show Vinnie that their show wasn't welcome on the Spike network.
Word.

"I won't accept it! I deny all knowledge!"

The prestige part was a reference to your precious WWE, which was once called the WWF(before you were born), and before that, the WWWF.

I take nothing seriously, you misinterpret the tone: I laugh at people like you on a daily basis, and it makes me feel good, toodles.

It's cute the way you take it so seriously. Don't throw a tantrum, I never actually implied that I  knew more about wrestling than you. As for all this prestige and history talk, go back to whatever low budget channel you came from then take a step into the real world.

Yeah, thats right, for the following reasons:

1. I am a Professional Wrestling fan, and actually have respect for the history, traditions and prestige that come hand in hand with the business.
2. I'm not entertained by banal and facile storylines.
3. I have a brain.

Do yourself a favour, take a step back from your own ego and realise that there are people that know so much more about the Pro Wrestling business than you. If you were truly a fan, you'd shut up and learn something about it.

Well you've been watching wrestling for a long time it would seem that you would have gotten tired of it by now if you really thought it was this rubbish.

I really don't think you deserve a great sport such as wrestling in your life. Burn in hell you cynic :)

I sincerely doubt it, as my opinion of you is rather low especially with responses such as "you don't have to watch it"

So if you watch a football match and think it's terrible, am I entitled to give that childish answer to you?

Here's the thing Alfonse, if you enjoy a show like that one, then theres no point in improving the product. Understand?

Let me put it this way, from the results I read, I would probably rate the show 3/10 if I had watched it. And that would have been generous. You, on the other hand would have dished out an eight or nine out of ten, no?
I assume then, lets say Wrestlemania would get a full 10/10 leaving no room for improvement, i.e the perfect show. So what happens if you ever decide to watch TNA and realise that any given PPV by them is better than last years Wrestlemania......?
So I "moan" about this kind of tripe, because I've seen things a million times better.

Sorry if this doesn't make much sense, but I'm pretty tired and couldn't be arsed trying to put my point across more clearly.

Flair and Piper winning the tag titles shows how bad the tag team division is at the moment.

Also I think Lita winning the title was to try and pursuade her to stay after her contract expires later on this month, whether it will or not I don't know.

Didn't watch it myself just read up on it this morning.

I watched up to the DX match i think it was and it was going pretty awfully til then, only bright spot was the backstage bit with Shawn (less Trips, less c**k jokes and more funny Shawn please)

Course prior to that the Carlito vs Hardy match was an utter botchfest but kudos to Jeff for managing to run the rail successfully for about the first time since 2000

Now what did we learn children? Apart from the now SOLID FACT that WWE cannot put on an entertaining PPV without a gimmick match(TLC, HITC, Elimination Chamber). We learnt that Eric Bischoff is more popular than Vince McMahon! Or else Vinnie was feeling lazy and rigged the vote. Either way, from what I can see whilst reading the results, 'twas an awful PPV, anyone who saw it care to comment? (Not Alfonse)

If they actually get the table physics done right with a variety of moves being able to put the guy through it (which THQ still, after what? 8 games?, haven't got right) then i'd be happy enough
