It's not just Vista, the MS Junk Filter has been around for quite a while in Outlook 2003/7 but Windows Mail (comes with Vista as the Express replacement) also has this functionality. The Junk filters are updated with Office Updates as well as letting you tailor them yourself.

I have to say that windows vista is savingme a lot of time in the morning these days - pre Vista I and my wife had to forward as attachments quite a few rouge emails to abuse at freeola, Vista how ever has this special folder that it sends what it thinks is JUNk to and so far its been correct every time, after a few weeks now of using Vista I van now empty the junk folder safe in the knowledge that it is just junk in it and no important emails have been diverted into that folder.
