From looking around it appears that one of the big changes to the next version of Firefox (undoubtedly to be named once again as the best version ever... duh!) is that it will be able to detect computer orientation.

This will work in the same way that mobile phone orientation has been demonstrated over the last few years, and will require that your computer has accelerometers capable of tracking movement.

This really will make things interesting, imagine the next set of online games requiring you to tilt your laptop? I must admit for the desktop user, I cant imagine this being too successful, unless they put accelerometers in your keyboard... or something!

Apparently most high end Laptops, including Mac's already have accelerometers installed, so these should be able to make use of this from the day it is released, that is bearing in mind whether anything will be written for it by then!

Well this sort of thing interests me, I wonder how successful it will be and whether any other browsers will catch on.
