I have had a few problems recently with some of the free Firewall/Anti Virus apps I have been running on my system.AVG falsely detected a legitimate program on my system as a virus (telling the program to ignore it seemed to make no difference) and when my system was scanned using AVAST! it would omit around 20% of the files on my PC ?,just stated 'unable to scan'?.I was using Comodo's personal firewall but this afternoon I finally nailed it as the cause of an ongoing problem I have been experiencing.My PC would freeze for no apparent reason and rebooting was the only option.After a repair load of my operating system failed to make any difference I began disabling certain apps on my PC before I feared I would have to embark on the dreaded windows reload.I noticed that when I unplugged the ethernet cable the PC ran like a dream,as soon as I plugged it back in it froze ?.I thought that the Comodo firewall could possibly be the reason so looked around for an alternative.I decided to try the highly regarded ESET Smart Security and have to say I am very impressed.My PC is running much faster and with no freezing problems at all.The spam filter is handy for all the crap that comes through my Freeola email address as well ! :)

Thought I would mention this especially as Freeola sell the program very reasonably.

Highly recommended and well worth the money IMO.
