Original Post:
I had do delete my beta record collection site and reinstall Joomla.

Before I deleted, I exported the database locally.  I then reinstalled the website and imported the database.  However, very worryingly, there are no records anywhere on the site.

Please help.

Thanks,

Neil

The site is working well now but I still have ownership issues with obsolete directories.

A script has reassigned ownership.

Is there a way I can get ownership back of these or does tech supp have to go in as root and kill them?

It turned out to be a file ownership/permission issue.

I think all is well now.

It might also be worth asking for advice in the Joomla forums...
