Yup, it really grates when it's a quest where you need to travel to places

Quick travels to town
*loads*
arrives in town, heads to castle and opens door
*loads*
talks to quest giver and leaves
*loads*
quick travel to place to go
*loads*
enter dungeon
*loads*
do the quest and leave
*loads*
quick travel back to city
*loads*
back to castle
*loads*
complete quest

Utterly horrible

That's really tragic. The game thrives on the sense of continuity. That you can almost believe you're in a different world, because everything is so fluid.

It's the main reason for the less than stellar score (compared to other reviews). If they were gone then it'd be up to around 23 or so but the constant load times just absolutely kill the game.

By the beard of Zeus! How slow is that? The PC version barely pauses to load new areas.

It does seem to suck you in, doesn't it?

I was quite surprised how much I actually got into it as well, not being a massive fan of RPGs at all.  Probably one of the best 360 games out there, and down for a PS3 release as well.
