Again, another game I've rented from Blockbuster. I wasn't expecting much from this game, but it did keep me entertained for a while.

-Basically, you kill and destroy things. That's it.-
The Single player is short and repetitive. Your a guy named Preston, who just got transferred to Bad Company for something you've done. The Army could have sent you to prison, but they didn't. From their on you and 3 squad mates travel around each level completing the objective assigned.

At first, the game is really fun, but then it starts getting repetitive. Basically, you get an objective to do such as blowing something up or clearing the area of enemies. The problem is that its all you ever do. After completing an objective you must regroup at the smoke signal to see a cutscene when your squad mates chat a little and receive new orders. Its always like this. You keep killing people and blowing stuff up until you reach the end of the mission. Of course there's always a few different types of missions, such as escorting a tank crew to a certain point, but still, the game gets repetitive.

Now that really won't stop you from playing the game to the end, unless your a really picky guy. Sure, the objectives are really repetitive, and the levels are a little bit to bland for my tastes, but its really fun breaking things and shooting people. You can call in arty strikes using a beacon, and its really effective. Same thing as using a bazooka, you get to blow stuff up. Now the downside to this is the way the buildings collapse. Its always the same thing no matter where you aim, it will always collapse and fall apart the same way. Still, the single player will keep you entertained in short doses of gaming time.

-Everyone game needs Multiplayer nowadays-
Now we get to the part why the game is worth getting, the Multiplayer. This game's online community is really active and you will probably always find a full game to play in, and I don't believe this game will be dying anytime soon. The Multiplayer's gameplay is basically the same as single player, but you get to choose what class you want to be. Each class has a different set of weapons you can choose from and different items, such as a healing injector or a bazooka. The multiplayer has good maps and good modes to play, and this is the main reason why Battlefield Bad Company is worth getting for.

-Overall-
Overall, the game is pretty good. The single player is fun to play through but feels repetitive. The main reason to get this game is for the Multiplayer, but there are other games with better multiplayer to play on. But, if you have some spare cash, consider getting this game to play.
