Hey does anyone watch the Osbournes? Ive got really into Ozzy Osbourne lately so decided to buy series 1, 2 and 2.5 (why didnt they call it 3 :s...anyways...) i thought it was a kind of unscripted thing where the cameras just filmed the life of the osbournes, kind of like big brother in the osbourne house, but on the last episode of the 2.5 dvd they had a whole fake story about jack sleepwalking and killing minnie the dog and then at the end they showed outtakes of ozzy messing up a line like 3 times so now im confused as to if it is scripted or not, does anyone know!?

Try watching Viva la Bam. That's very obviously scripted.

But at least it was really, really funny at times.

I'd assume a lot of it was scripted, I know for a fact that one of the daughters didn't want any part of the series at all, so was never filmed. Funny at times, but then if you'd consumed the amount of drugs and alcohol that Ozzy has over the past God-knows-how-many years i'd be surprised to you in any other sort of condition!

I do have a problem with that series aside it being quite tacky. Had it not been comissioned when it was, it's quite likely that Black Sabbath would have completed the new recordings they did back in 2000/1... and why couldn't they have used the original Crazy Train for the titles? It's a classic!

(Or more suitably from Ozzy's solo material, Diary of a Madman...)
