Any of you torrenters been watching Heroes? Its a drama about a group of people who realise they have super powers. There have been 5 episodes so far and its really good in my opinion.
Just thought Id let you all know incase you havent heard of it.

Sorry to double post but I don't think a re-edit will bring this thread back up to the top to inform you that episode 19 of Heroes was shown in the USA last night and episode "0.7%" is available for downloaders and open for discussions.

Yeah, I noticed that about Hiro too. It was just the bullet that moved but the girl didnt pull the trigger again so obviously stayed in normal time.

I now think that Peter blows up because he can't control his multitasking powers (using more than 1 power at any one time). Also Hiro has shown us he can perhaps manipulate time and space on a single object and not effect the entire world at the same time. This is proven because he stopped and reversed time only on the bullet and gun that fired it and nothing else as time seemed to carry on as normal around them.

Maybe it's because of Sylar that he blows up. Think about it, normally he would only be gaining 1 specific power from 1 hero at a time, and he would have memories and feelings to go with them to activate their power. Now, since Sylar has more than 1 power Peter cannot focus on any one of them when he thinks of Sylar, because it's like a tornado instead of a stiff breeze, causing him to overload.

He's like a good version of Sylar. He's met Sylar too so might be able to use his abilities.
Once he can control others powers, he would have more powers than Sylar if they ever had a fight again because he gets his powers from being near people rather than killing them so he would have powers that Sylar doesnt and also any new powers that Sylar has collected (by absorbing them from Sylar).

Actually I don't think the powers of the Nuke guy make him blow up, it's the cumulative effect of meeting and absorbing multiple heroes' powers and having no control over them causing his mind and body to release those powers in a dangerous and explosive way.
BTW he's already met Hiro, and future Hiro once, so he could soon be using time and space abilities.

Congrats about passing!
Peter has already started using powers from 'heroes' he hasn't met...
Remember he started charging up his nuke power when he realised he could use the powers of those he met...
I don't remember him meeting the nuke guy...

Thought that Sylar might have been her dad - wasn't expecting it to be Nathan. Will be interesting to see if Peter can start using other people's powers without them being around.
Hiro is still the best though. :0)

I actually thought it might be him last week after watching the "next time on Heroes" bit. It showed his arm wearing a shirt and he's the only one who wears a shirt so it was either him or someone new.

Yeah, he's signed up for a regular part apparently.
Still only up to episode 5, though, I've downloaded up to 8 so far, but haven't had time to watch them...

Anyone else notice Christopher Eccleston in the lastest episode?
Wouldn't have recognised him if it wasn't for his name appearing at the bottom of the screen at the start...

hm. Perhaps I should check that. I've used Azureus now and it does seem to be quicker, mind you. So it's probably just Bitlord...

I use Azureus for mine, but the recomended program is uTorrent. It uses very little system memory apparently. Im not sure if that would make a difference to speeds of torrents. Are there many seeds? If not try another file with more seeds.

Gah! My torrents are going really slowly, even with a faster connection. Any help?
I know part of the problem is using Bitlord...

I have seen all of the first half of the series and I cannot wait for it to start again on the 22nd (over a week away :) ) and of course my favorite has to be Hiro Nakamura, but after him is Claire Bennett.
