Has anybody been watching it ? its amazing ! The first series has left me eager to see the second as i have seen some adverts for it.
There are bound to be new characters but not sure about some of them from the first series like Peter Petrelli for example. Is he really dead or will he be back with his brother nathan ? rarely like any sereis on tv right now except from ugly betty and this. oooh its getting exciting... =D

Anybody willing to talk about it feel free =D

If the future is changed, then there would be no reason for future Peter to return to the past and change things...which means his version of the future never existed and he didn't go back and shoot Nathan, which means Nathan went public and Peter's future happened which caused Peter to go back and shoot Nathan...

Because of this paradox, and in line with the multiple universe theories (though lets not turn this into a science debate :P) Peter's future has to have happened that way. Just like Hiro's future had to have involved going back in time and meeting Peter on the train in the 'I didn't recognise you without your scar moment' in the timeline which involved Peter going Nuclear in series 1.

The timelines exist for each choice and possibility. It's the shared timeline of 'present day' that Heroes focuses on, but delves into the various futures for each character that had to exist to tell the story (such as Ando killing Hiro...which could never happen...could it?).

Well it made sense to me anyway :D

I thought episode 4 was really really good. I'll admit to being ever so slightly baffled in places, but I still enjoyed it a lot and loved the future Sylar scenes.

So far it's much better than season 3.

Maybe it just hadnt changed significantly at that point or possibly just because the timeline changes doesnt mean the alternate future stops existing.

Old age does terrible things to attractive women. Claire though is immortal and doesnt degrade.

It was ok, as I was explaining to McLong parts of it annoyed me.

**SPOILER FOR THOSE THAT CARE**

A couple of episodes ago when future Peter shot Nathan his mum said he had changed the future from what he knew it was. However, when future and present Peter where in the future in this episode it was the same future that future Peter came from. Does that mean that the Heroes timeline doesn't follow the same mechanics as the Back to the Future storyline? (i.e. cause and immediate effect in the future) or did I just completely mis-read the situation?

Oh, and how come future Claire is hotter than present Claire but 'fast' girl gets worse looking in the future?

Just checked out episode 4, it was awesome, can't wait to see how this season turns out. Definitely a big improvement over season 2!

Watched the first three episodes last night (At the request of McLong) and I have to say I'm enjoying it so far. Second episode was my favourite although I did groan a fair bit at the 'twist' ending.

Well, as the BBC have been quick to run the series not so long after the US airing, I'll support the Beeb and watch it on UK TV.  It also means I can Sky+ the whole series so I don't forget.

I'm betting we can put a bit of that down to the writers strike, so hopefully this one will be a lot more... cohesive?

Well I can tell you at least 2 of those questions will be answered in the very first episode of season 3,

Plus I can also tell you the answer(s) to the second two points as well, but that would be spoiling :p

That sucks! To be fair I only saw the first season, but still, it was brilliant!

Yep, series three looks as if it could be a real cracker compared to some of the stuff we witnessed in the second series.

I still quite enjoyed it though and I like to think that the writer's strike did have a severe effect - I think the initial ending to the last episode was going to see the virus released...?

What did concern me was the number of times they had Peter with his shirt off, I'd hate to think that a show like Heroes could begin to sell out like that - the writers even admitted as much in the Heroes Unmasked episodes... Let's hope we see much less of that in the Villains chapter! :)

So many questions still unanswered... What were Kaito and Angel's powers? Does Sylar really eat his victims brains? How does he keep on surviving without the ability to regenerate? There were supposed to explain Peter's scar in this series as well.

I expect to see Adam return at some point and my money's on "Future Peter" for the gunman - we've already seen how easily he can be manipulated!

Slightly off-topic, I recently found out The 4400's been canned after its fourth series. :(

I dont think the entirety of Season 2 has been shown over here yet. Spoiler warnings?
I agree though, Season 2 was not good but i'm blaming that on the writers strike for cutting it in half. I thought the way Adam was dealt with though was clever but premature.

Heroes season 2 pretty much sucked big time.

THERE BE SPOILERS BELOW YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED

LAST WARNING

Ali Larters character needs to be removed ASAP - They appeared to kill her off end of season 2, but guess what she's coming back yipee!

Hiro - Jeez way to ruin a likeable character, by putting him in a situation that could've rocked but instead sucked majorly.

Adam - Liked the concept and liked the character even though they really tried to ruin his character.

Peter - Wow what an idiot, they made him so stupid it's unreal, and why are they not confronting the issue of his potential limitless powers, I feel this could be a strong storyline (Not in the same way as season 1.)

Sylar - The only character who kept credit, even though he was declawed he still kept trying to rid the show of the bad characters. Which leads me to

The crying mexican ....- She was a utter utter waste of a character, all she did was cry and mope about, and then just when we thought she was dead noooooo she came back to life :(

Also peter pan, the general lack of characters staying dead were all downsides to the second season.

Though it wouldn't be fair to neglect the wonderful Kristen Bell her character did rock.

Its something I never got into.  Sounds good and the few moments I catch when channel hopping seem really interestng.  I watch too little tv - the only time it is on is when I am on my 360.

Annoyed at the fact the only TV show I do follow, Supernatural, has been cancelled for 2 months to make way for Britain's Got More Talent (after repeating the week before's episode and the episode that had just been aired.  they even have the cheek to show a repeat of Bionic Woman afterwards :(  Come on itv2 - I'm in suspense!

It wont be back now until September/October. Bloody annoying because Season II was only 11 episodes long.
All i've got now is Lost. The last episode wasn't good

I totally agree, stupid writers, the end of chapter two came along suprisingly early.  I though there would be more episodes after Christmas but no sign of any more episodes at the moment.

I love Heroes though and I want more!!!

The second series isn't due to hit BBC 2 until February at the earliest; I've read that it may not arrive until April because they want to squeeze Torchwood in first - God only knows why!

I'm doing quite well to resist the temptation downloading the second series, or even simply watching it online. That way, I'll actually have something to watch on TV when all eight episodes of Lost are finished. I just bought the first series of Heroes on DVD, that should also help. And the graphic novel - which I also recommend.

Going back to the grand finale on BBC 2, did you not switch over and watch that program on Three, with all the "celebs" talking about their thoughts and favourite things?
Right at the end, we saw a brief preview of the second series - Nathan Petrelli is alive, as is Sylar. No sign of Peter, but he cannot possibly be dead with the power of Regeneration.
I think you can also view it on the BBCs website, if you like.

I have so many questions that need answering (don't tell me now!!) - most of which concern Sylar.

How does vanish from the murder scene so quickly? Why did he only show signs of Telekinesis when Bennet (Noah, hah!) had him? He wants Claire's power badly but it doesn't appear as if he is able to do - he's been shot several times; fallen off the top of a school; even when Eden pointed the gun to his head, he told her "now, you now that won't hurt me", or something along those lines.

Here's to the New Year and the brand new (for some, at least!) series of Heroes! Can't see the strikes ending anytime soon. :(

Volume 2 was great - though a little short. Shame this writers strike caused the show to have to end early as the story seemed a little rushed.

Hopefully Volume 3 will show improvement to similar standards as the first story...

You can watch Season 2 already online.

It does surprise me how everyone ignored it and thought it must be some rubbish when it was first on the Sci Fi channel, but as soon as BBC get their hands on it, it's claimed as "the new lost".

You humans are so shallow ;)
