Not sure if your site is for business or private? To get your site noticed you have to have relevant content on your site. Keywords are not so important, especially on Google.A good book to get is 'Getting Noticed on Google' by Ben Norman. It is a Easy Steps book. This will tell you all you require. I have made big advances with my website in the rankings in just a month over my old site.

You can alter any font, both colour, size an type. I just experimented with pages and then did a preview. I am afraid you just have to keep trying things out. One thing I did find is that if you just start with a blank page and start typing text. You can add a picture anywhere you like. If you go to picture properties and click the advanced tab, you can make the text flow around the picture. Try to avoid text as black Times New Roman or Arial. Dark grey looks good, I think.

i've just set up my new instant site but i'm a complete novice at this. so could anyone help me to improve my site? first of all, how can make my site stand out more with background images, different fonts, layouts and eye catching effects, rather than just the standard freeola templates? also, i need to get my site noticed by getting it listed on search engines and get it found by people using key words. but i have no idea how to do any of this. i would be eternally grateful for any help you could give me (please try and tell me in idiot proof language!!!).
