There are always things in the pipeline but it's rare anything works out. I was supposed to be going back to the place i was working at in Wembley but i think the manager has personal issues for not wanting me back.
As for moving, yeah i've been looking solidly for at least 3 months. I've found somewhere about a mile south of Greenwich and i'm waiting for a viewing which was supposed to be today.

Morning.
Was just falling asleep around 5am when i realised i'm supposed to have an appointment to go and view a flat this morning. No sleep for me and i'm hardly in the mood to traipse halfway across London.

Yeah, pretty sure you'll be fine Hippy.
I'm feeling really tired again. Pumped up a small bouncy castle thing we've had in the garage for a couple of years. Finally got around to using it. originally got it from a friend but the girls were too young to use it.
Just hope it doesn't rain too much over the next week, so they can get some more use out of it!
Other than that, I've been clearing out the garage again, getting rid of old boxes and stuff we don't need + can't sell. Took longer than I thought.

No you're not - you've just got to apportion your 'spare' time to a forum session:)
If you're running XP, see if 'Windows zero configuration' will pick up available networks. (Think it's right-click 'wireless connection icon', bottom right of screen.) Then log in with your 'passkey' or whatever. If not, reset all your wireless settings - ie IP addresses etc

I need cash too pb. Just my luck to start on payday. I've had no source of income for over 3 months :S
Sorted out my laptop now, so it's not running slow (in fact, it's running faster than when I bought it[?]). But it now won't pick up the wireless router. So still struggling on internet access.
I'm going to miss spending my days on here.

Hey everyone, if you wondering what the smell was...I'm back :p How is everyone?
So the new job is strange and already receiving stress from the training (i.e, they've told me my internet password and told me to start reading (so far 6 days of reading the banking bible from an obscure VDU). I start dealing with cash on Monday :S
Any major news since I've been away?

Yeah, I'm usually online on MSN but tend to appear offline a lot.
Things are pretty much the same as always, recently became an uncle.
Cong Man is around every so often but that's pretty much it for the old WWE forumers I think.

This does not bode well for the flared jeans I'm hoping to win on eBay this evening... and also reminds me of that Judge Judy clip involving the woman selling photos of phones on there.

As long as it isn't one of those people who just send the box and no contents. Have you checked the wording on the ebay page carefully?

Well I've just checked on parcelforce with tracking code the seller gave me and well it says it's being processed but no confirmation of delivery yet, so were see, I might be lucky this time. I think i'll be more sceptical from now on, on what I bid on.

hm. Sorry to hear about that. Hope it gets sorted out. Paypal at least are quite good at sorting issues out. I'd personally never buy a new or nearly new console on ebay, I'd prefer to have a guarantee for it.

Well, I'm not sure now, because I got an email from ebay yesterday, saying they had cancelled the auction and that I should not pay, and have since revoked the sellers' account! but I'd already purchased and paid.. so I have to wait and see if it gets delivered, otherwise I will have to go through the whole thing on paypal to get my money back and that takes time.

Cheers Grix. I hope I can be a good influence.
My internet connection is fixed! I can now play online again. I just wish I didn't feel like I was going to throw up all the time. Been feeling like that on and off since Friday.

Quite happy being a parent , but recently became an Uncle as well. This way around you can help out with stuff and give them all the crap that's been building up in your garage while you decide whether you're going to have any more kids to make use of it...
Kids are great though, mine are on their way to music class this morning, gives them the basics of rythmn, starting and stopping, singing etc. They love going.

Congrats Grandprix!
Being an uncle is fantastic. Part-time parenting. You get to inflict all your twisted values on top of them, get to play games, and sometimes best of all have ANSWERS to their questions that bother their inquisitive minds!
Man it's great I highly recommend it. I've got four boys though and I'd love a girl. I wanna dress up dolls and do all the girly stuff too. But alas, my sister's bit the bullet and chewed her ovaries off so no more from her. I suppose I should make my own at some point. Full time parenting! Argh!
Actually it doesn't scare me so much. Definitely not for a few years. There are certain things that worry me, like will it be a mental, will I be a good father etc.. I have no doubt in my mind that she'd be a great mother, I know that much. Self doubt is more worrying.
But like I said, not for a while. Too many things to do in the meantime. Too many things to discover, work out and grow with. But honestly? If I was told tomorrow "I'm pregnant".. I'd be happy. But really no need for it yet.
