I used to know the orchid thing. It may be something to do with the roots resembling the female reproductive organs. I dont know, it's been about 6 years since i studied any of this stuff.

The Orchid thing is straightforward and fun, but the Venus Fly-Trap may -possibly- be a little more.. ruder!

I've got Prime.  The others I gave to a kid up the road that I was babysitting or sold to parents who were desperate for the toys while they were out of stock (and made money on them, of course).

The new animated toys look great. Not sure about the cartoon though, it's a bit too cheesy at times.

It's being read as a 32GB drive. Same thing happened with my backup drive. It was 20GB, i stuck it in and it was down to 10Gb. I reinstalled on it and it's now down to 4GB. I can only imagine there is some sort of invisible partition on it.

Do you mean the bios is seeing it as a 32GB drive or that you can only format it to 32GB?

Bleh harddrives continue to confuse me. I bought a new one last week, 80GB, set it all up and it's only registering as 32GB. It's not the first time i've had this problem, it's happened with every drive i've put in. There has to be something wrong with the BIOS settings.

Not bad.  I need to get my hands on a PC from a mate of mine.  he's giving it to me in a bid to clear out before he moves to London.  All it should be missing is a Hard Drive.

Not good.  What are the hours like in Freeola?  Any flexitime? :)

Still grey and wet here.  My wasp sting seems to be clearing up quite well, only ichy now and occassionally reminds me it's there.  I think I got off lightly!

Little bright here this morning so not too bad, my car wouldn't start this morning though I think the battery is gone. Had to wake up the old dear for a lift in!

Not a good start in my book....

Not too bad a day, apart from getting stung on the shoulder by a wasp.  Stung him back...with my foot.

Back to the ol' office tomorrow.  I'm sure there's lots of 'fun' in store there.

(Apologies for a PMT joke, sincerely, I'm so bored of those myself I don't know why I made it)

And I also realise My Very Easy Method perhaps shouldn't end in Planets any more, which makes it a bit stranger, although I guess you could say mnemonics sounds like harmonics, and you could say music does indeed make the world go round and My Very Easy Method Just Speeds Up Neptune, which makes me wonder if Neptune was all that musical because he doesn't sing in The Little Mermaid if I recall. But then he wasn't Neptune, he was Triton.

Let's see if I can think of a few questions.

How did the beautiful flower Orchid get it's name? (Clue - it's not a beautiful name, and it's got something to do with the shape of the roots)

And staying with plants: What is the tipitiwitchet? (Clue - it's covered in tiny hairs and very sensitive to the touch)

Damnit, really should know this one. Four?

Jupiter I think (My Very Easy Method Just Speeds Up Naming Planets)

All of them! Maybe. Gershwin died from brain cancer. I thought Mozart was deaf when he was younger anyway, I forget. Did he have some sort of infection that killed him off slowly? I'll say Mozart for now.

> - How many months have 28 days?

Well according to my calculations which I'm pretty sure are correct, the average woman's menstrual cycle lasts 28 days, which means there must be about.. 70 or so days in a month, so I guess as you can fit so many lunar cycles in, that'd make it every month!

Hi. Interesting weekend so far.  Got that tv from Argos, spent today playing games and watching films.  Not sure what we're doing tomorrow though.  Hope everyone else is having a fun bank holiday weekend.

We love quizzes on Freeola. I'm not a very good quiz master though, my questions are always too easy.

- What is the capital city of Norway?
- How many strings does a violin have?
- Which planet is the fifth from the sun?
- Which classical composer became deaf near the end of his life?
- How many months have 28 days?
