Felt a bit funny again this afternoon.  Bit of a pain, really, with so much to do and a long weekend coming up.

A rather productive day of searching for game music. I reckon I only need 15 and I'll be up and running. I could probably start putting it all together into a video now and add the remaining on the end.

Easy answer:  Spend the afternoon with the kids watching Classic Doctor Who.  :D

I've got a mate coming around on Sunday, so most of that will be spent gaming or watching films, though our choices are limited to family friendly stuff until the kids go to bed!

Afternoon guys, glad to hear you're feeling better pb. By the way do you have the sci fi channel? Apparently they're showing a lot of classic Dr Who over the bank holiday weekend. Hmm classic Dr Who marathon or spend the holiday with the kids? Tough choice ;)

I don't think it's just the new ones, it's everything.  Probably just some tweak needed, don't panic!

I have a good avatar picture to go on as well.

Looking forward to the Star Wars Demo - either going to be great, or a huge let down. But with the people involved and time it has taken i am sure it will be a great game!

Good to see most people are fit and healthy, with the weekend approaching we dont want people feeling bad now, do we!?

Morning all, glad to hear you're feeling better pb. The Star Wars demo should be out today which hopefully will convince me to get it, am slightly doubful at the moment, looks good but not sure if it'll keep me playing for more than a couple of hours after the novelty has worn off.
Sunnyish and I mean 'ish day in Ipswich, just hoping it's ok tommorow for golf!

Morning everyone! I'm first in today, Only because I got woken up by mum running a bath at 5am, whilst she was getting ready for work. Looks quite bright this morning, clear sky. So hopefully will bring a sunny warm day with it.

I'm sitting on the fence with this one, but the 'new' avatars are supposed to be 'a close approximation of the person designing it'. Therefore they are unique to them and should be viewed as such. So forum users avatars become a little more 'personable' rather than being a 'rose petal' or 'a cow licking the screen' (Sorry,pb:)). I do agree though, that perhaps the 'old' avatars did portray the 'fantasy' side of the user and are perhaps more entertaining to view than the present ones. Anyway, they have briefly given a pictorial impression of forum users:)

PS well done on chad and lil girl front

People who have them are just sheep and thus not worth differentiating. :-)

Well I call it my opinion :p I guess I just don't like them because everyone has them! Also it makes it harder to differentiate between users because everyone as before everyone had their own unique avatar.

Hi.

Been off work ill this morning.  A migrane, so was unable to even enjoy the time off, no TV, games or PC screens.

Anyway, brain is hurting a bit less now, so I popped on to check emails and have a quick scout around at what you cheeky scamps have been getting up to without me.

I see the spammers have been back.  I have my theories about why some of them are here, but lets not go in to that.  Hopefully it's not something that will re-occur all that often.  I agree with Emmie that this place is quite a nice little community now ('little' being the word at the moment).

Anyway, will try to stick around for a few minutes before my head explodes again.

Apparently the harddrive that broke down and i took to get repaired cant be fixed. My arse it cant. I was able to access the file list but didnt have the software to take the files off it. The shop, instead of following me route, decided to try and fix it hooking it up as a primary drive and then wonder why it wont load up. Stupid basts. I'll find someone who actually knows what theyre doing instead.

i think he may have earnt it with the extra hours he has been doing.

I think it would be nice to get a few more regulars on here, but then the community we have here is nice at the minute. Don't want to spoil that in the process.

I wonder if the treasure hunt will bring people in, they have banners up on the site advertising it, should be a big deal!

I don't know why we don't get more people signing up. Maybe jubba should do a special EGAD to encourage the lurkers to sign up and post something decent. :)

Goor morning to you also - hope your day is going well so far.

Can i put a restraining order on them - they can not come any closer than two topics from where i am posting lol!

I don't mind it too much but it can beomce annoying with a lot of new people just adding poorly written and very useless topics.

We touched on this a bit yesterday, we have seen a couple of new users contributing well which is refreshing, but then the usual flood in the games forum occured again last night lol

It's politically motivated.  One person in power has and idea that super-powers are bad and they use spin to convince people.

Actually, DC had a similar storyline along all it's heroes in the 80s.

Anyway, it's easy to think that if there were a bunch of people who had powers then a lot of them are not going to be generally 100% good or use those powers for someone else's benefit.

Shame X3 is so much worse...

We always wanted an NES aswell but couldn't afford it.

I was watching X2 last night, is it suppose to be some kind of parrallel universe where people hate super powers? If my brother, kid or friend had super powers I would find it so cool! "Have you tried, not being a mutant?" :S stupid mother. he's got super powers, he's not gay.
