UHF £2.99 on Amazon.

If you can't get it now, stick it in your wish list, Machie!

i like cheese when it's done like that.

Anyway.  I seem to have come back to a whole load of work and need to find some money for doing the house up still.  I'm now trying to think of ways to get enough to do up my daughter's room (which has needed doing for the past 3 years).

UHF, by God that's funny. I really wish Gandhi II was made, and that I could got shopping at Spatula City! The only downside is that the plot is occasionally a little cheesy...

Also, my Nationwide accounts need money, anyonymous donations happily recieved.

The Halifax thing made me chuckle.

I recommend UHF, it's got some choice moments such as the Beverly Hillbillies song, always makes me smile when I watch it.  Was £4.99 on play a while ago.

You sure do Jason, in more ways than one ;) Well done on your job, you'll be branch manager in no time. My Nationwide account is empty so feel free to fill it for me. I was kinda hoping you'd join Halifax, then you could sing in one of their commercials.

@pb I love Weird Al, can't believe I havent seen that movie yet. Will soon correct that.

Morning all.  Last day of the working week.

Got a nice break from taking the kids swimming during the summer, means we don't have to go out so early on a Saturday now, but it also means we need to find something else to keep the kids busy.

I thought so.  Good going.

Hm.  Yes.  Still, beats not being able to keep my T-shirt on in the house because it was so hot.  Back to proper work tomorrow, in the office rather than at home.  Today was useful for getting through the thousands of emails I had and answering a few questions, but I was also in a call which ended up with me now having to go off to Belgium next Friday to see some clients.

I was planning to go to London to work on the usual stuff I'm doing, but will have to postpone that.

Anyone for a memory upgrade?

Selling the unwanted RAM here. I bought it for £45 I think, so there's a bit of a bargain to be had.

this isn't shameless at all :)

Evening chaps and chappettes, how are you all today?

Just off for a few drinks with my stepbrother to unwind from work.  Spoke to regional today and he sorted a few things out.  Made me feel proud as said i was currently the best of the new starters in the region stat wise and for actually bothering to learn the products I'm selling outside of work.  Stats are funny things - I've no yet had a till difference, but some of the new starters have already had about 15!  I think I will be ok :)  i always give myself a hard time, don't I Machie?

Hello!

All is quiet in the Freeola forums and offices today, guess people are beginning to enjoy the British 'summer' instead of sitting inside on their computers!

Take a look in Creative for all the stories or in the stickies on each forum for the rules and details for entering.

What stories are they? I've had a difficult day :P

Well, hit the thirst aid kit today after work.  Saved my family a lot of earache.   Speaking to the regional tomorrow ad have a lot to say, may even ask for a branch transfer as it's a joke!

If I could not work and spend a day sat on the Internet (or access freeola from work) I'd be happy again.  expect to see me on my future holiday date!  How is everyone this evening?

Yeah, my Brother-in-law watches it and shouts at the screen.  They have a lot of what we'd call old variety shows here, performers, singers and comedians all in one show, and loads of game shows.  It's a bit like UK TV in the 80's but with current day production values.

Or Ant and Dec's show if it was taken seriously...

Sounds like the kind of pish you see on C4 or ITV2, I just know that my girlfriend would watch it though! Speaking of which I saw an advert last night for 'Celebair', basically 'celebraties' being air stewards/stewardesses flying real people on holiday. Can't wait...

Morning all.  Not going to be on here much today, flying back this afternoon so I'll have to pack everything up, always fun.

Anyway, they have this new gameshow in Spain, Cantar Singstar.  That's right, it's a Sony gameshow similar to pop idol etc but with worse singers and more games.  Great advert for Sony though...

Hah.  Well, the house on the end of the street is apparently for sale now, maybe tomorrow I'll find out how much it costs before I go home  :)

Created a thread in Creative with a link to all the stories for GAD, but I really wish Jmaul and Gerrid would post their stories again in a seperate topic in that forum.  Would be much neater.

Unfortunately, freeola Gods have not given me sufficient power to reign down the fire of thread heaven and place the stories in their own thread unless it's under my own name...

You're already down about coming home? How come? I thought you wouldnt like it being in her families house and relying on your brother-in-law to drive you around. Oh and that hot sticky weather. It's not that bad here is it? Oh wait you're not looking forward to going back to work? Poor Paul, what you should do is find a career that you enjoy :)

We have a rice cooker, but to be honest we bought a cheap microwave one as well and it's far easier and quicker, plus the rice comes out the same...
