What did you watch in the end? We had The Island on until Ewan had the little bug probes crawl into his eye when she freaked out... We ended up watching 'Most Embarressing Pop Moments Ever pt1' on BBC3 instead!

I haven't yet, but I'll be sure to check it out.

Early Grey or Chai are my favourites, though proper Indian Chai is far nicer than the stuff in boxes here.  Mind you, Starbucks do a Chai that knocks you for six, it's so bloody strong!

Morning all.

Everyone seems to have colds or be ill at the moment.  I feel a bit ill myself after all the swimming today.

Oh well.  I'm now wrestling away some of my games (I don't want to get rid of any) to afford Little Big Planet.

Good Luck Emmie - wish I'd bought a ticket now...

Where's Machie when you need him.  I may have a date lined up for next week :)  But don't want to jinx myself by saying too much...

And pb, pass a custard cream if there are any left!

You can tell that it's Friday afternoon.

We've just raided the local cheapy superstore and found 1300g boxes of broken biscuits for £2.49.  We're talking foxes, bourbons, McVities, all the big names.

Now sitting here with a cup of Earl Grey trying not to eat too many at once!

I was listening to the John Barrowman interview on the way to work this morning, sounds like a top bloke. You got the details of the comp as he was going to announce it "in two records time" just as I pulled into the car park so I missed it.

There seems to be some bit of news about Dr Who every week. Yesterday it was David missing the cardiff crew and looking forward to going back. I wonder if they really will do a movie. I can see it doing better than a Red Dwarf movie.

Morning guys, lots of sun today.

First night race in F1 this weekend too (Singapore).  Should be good.

Chris Moyles announced the Doctor Who competition to win a trip to see the Doctor Who set.  Guess I'll be entering that.  Only thing if I win would be to talk them in to letting my 4 year old daughter on the set, as it's supposed to be 5 and over.

Good morning everyone. nice and sunny this morning and it is Friday! which is always a good thing. The weekend is meant to be nice which means i can get some golf in. Got footy on Sunday and Spurs are on TV - it is a good weekend.

I am going to an Indian tonight where you take your own booze, went a couple of weeks ago and it is a really good thing to do. Cheap food which tasted ok, and just went through a few tins of beer then went into town, Good Times lol

Oh yes am doing thank you - we're in Palma Nova in Mallorca just next to Magaluf but thankfully much quieter and with less stag parties etc.

Went on the train ride through the mountains on Monday to see the lemon and orange trees but got stranded half way as the rain meant the train couldn't come down the mountain as the track was too slippy so spent the best part of an hour in a small carriage with people grumbling - went to sleep in the end!

Saw.... really, it will be the same as 2,3 and 4

Saying this i will probably see it as i have the unlimited card and it provides good gore factor!

I saw Casino Royale on DVD as i didnt have my card then. But i did enjoy it, thought it was a good bond film.

I must go to the cinema way too much now lol.

Damn you lot and your cinemas that have passes!

Oh well. I don't really get time to go all that often, though I expect my eldest would enjoy going to see some of the kids films at the cinema.

You liked Casino Royale? Despite me liking Bond films I was bored sitting in the cinema watching that. Despite having my unlimited card I doubt I'll see QoS instead watch it on DVD in like a year or something...

Next film I'll see at the cinema will probably be Saw V :)

Morning Emmie and everyone else lurking around!

Didn't see the film last night, was on too late in the end and couldn't make the earlier showing.  Possibly going tomorrow straight after work now.

Next film after that will probably be Quantum of Solice.  This is the most I've been to the cinema in years though!

What a joyful day... I was late to a seminar this morning, spent ages recruiting people for the society I'm part of, and leaving a pub rather more quickly than usual owing to the number of friends-of-friends there who weren't really my sort of crowd. And thanks largely to GAD, I didn't personally pay for the textbooks I just ordered from Amazon.

All in a day's work... I must be going mad again.

First time in 2 weeks I've had a McDonalds.  They lured me in with the Star Wars toys and i got a little Millenium Falcon LCD game.

It's actually quite fun, if a bit basic.

I've got an iPod but use it just in my card instead of having a massive CD changer.

Today is going fairly quickly, I suppose it helps we are randomly very busy call-wise today, plus I'm helping train the Freeola Support n00bs, plus all my other little ongoing tasks which is making the day fly, not even had a chance for a tea yet!
