You'll get there.  I'm sure there's something waiting just around the corner.

Work... All I have sorted out thus far is working at Guilfest; the pay isn't great, and neither is the lineup this year. And last year is anything to go by, I'll have to be a really early bird one morning for clearing out the arena.

What makes it worse is that most of my friends have managed to at least find something temporary...

If that was me, I wouldn't care about you ordering a card and buying loads of stuff with it, however, I would hunt you down and torture you if you ate all my food...hypothetically that is :D

You could go to hypothetical prison if the hypothetical judge ruled against you in the hypothetical case.

Hypothetically, was it really such a crime?

Well thats called fraud and you can be prosecuted for it.  But in this hypothetical situation the deed has already been done so theres no use hypothetically worrying about it.  It'll hypothetically bite you at a later date or it wont.

Yes, I agree, it may not benefit you in the long run to lie in order to get a better upper limit on your card etc.  Depends how good at managing money you are.

Not that I agree with lying to banks and stealing their money, but in a hypothetical way, there is no wrong in that action at all :D

...just as long as said person didn't go into debt due to re-payments etc.

Say, hypothetically, that you lied on a credit card application about your gross income, you were then accepted and took out the card.

Is that really such a bad thing?

A little different to my assessment session at Chessingotn World of Adventures, to say the least; two-and-a-half hours of introducing yourself, teambuilding and interview. Looks like a nice fun summer of menial work ahead of me, unless the temping agency can come up trumps...

Evening all, just dropping by to say hi!

Just come back from my 2-day training course in Bournemouth.  Shocked at how much they must have spent just to say "welcome to our company".  I'm not complaining though, if they want to send me on all-expenses paid courses where I'm outnumbered by beautiful girls as my colleagues discussing some basic stuff on company values...bring it on!

Better than the cheap on-site training I got when I started GAME, although still not sure what I have to do in my job though:p

How are you all?  Enjoying the football...now that it's getting interesting?

Ah, well it must have been pretty scary for the driver.

Wouldn't have been so bad in a Monster Truck!

Sent off some of my expenses to get paid back, just waiting for the Hotel to send the bill now so I can send that off.

If you mean catching trains, then yes!

On our way now, back in to the west.  Won't get in till around 8pm though.  Another busy week of travelling and then catching up.

It's been really quiet last few days..  ho hum.

Was meant to be visiting a friend in Aberdeenshire this weekend, but his grandad passed away in hospital, feel pretty bad for him. Maybe pop up next week, see how he's doing.

Work is about as quiet as the forums, think I might try and slip off early tonight...

heh, good game (assuming it doesn't lead to court orders!).

Still in CW for the next hour or so, then off on the tube to get to Paddington on time.

You were within walking distance of me then. I spent most of yesterday around the West End. Apparently Will Smith was around last night but i couldnt be bothered waiting for him. I did however get to play my new game. Stalk the "celebrity" and yesterdays victim was this man. Unfortunately his girlfriend wasn't with him. We managed to stalk him for 5 minutes before he went into the capital radio building.

Well, yesterday sure went quickly.

Spent the morning in our CW office and the afternoon in the City St office, then we went out for a meal at the Hoxton (nice place).  Didn't get to go to the top of the hotel though.

I'm on a train back to the West Country at 4pm and loads of telecons until then, so doesn't look like I'll be getting lunch.  Might try to pick up a sandwich at Paddington before I leave, if I can get there in enough time.

Did the fatherly duties and phoned the kids to say goodnight last night too, in between dinner and dessert!  Luckily hadn't drunk too much by then!

How is everyone else today?

Down on the park by the beach yesterday, a bit overcast, but not too bad.  The girls liked it anyway.  Then introduced our friends to the Wii and Wii Sports.

Got to prepare for London tomorrow now, which means recharging the DS and internet phone.

The top floor is entirely open-plan so apart from the lifts getting in the way, you've got a 360o view of London. What you need to do is walk up to the glass and look down.

Hah.  Must try that.

It's so near to the office though, it's perfect.  Feel a bit guilty that it also happens to be the most expensive on offer, but then I'm doing important work, so I'm sure the feeling will pass...
