Hmmm we'll see.
I've never bothered decorating my room. I'm not that bothered if it looks crap but i'll have to do it soon because we're moving out of this house and no-one will take it as it is.

I'm sure it will turn out well if you put all your effort into it.  The house I live in was shoddily made - all the walls are uneven, cracks in the ceilings etc.  When it came to my room i just slapped on a few coats of pain. Far from perfect, but I think it will do for me.

You might hate yourself for the extra work you are doing now, but it will look much better for it.

I'm doing the kitchen. Unfortunately, because i'm so obsessive about making sure it's perfect i've decided the walls need sanding down before i plaster the cracks and holes and then paint. I hate myself sometimes.

I'm not too bad.  Just waiting to start my job (start a week tomorrow).  How is the decorating going?  I finished decorating my room about a week ago so I'm getting bored.  More gaming may take away that boredom!

Not found anything on Noodles, but I will keep looking. Both of those games intrigued me when I was younger, but never got around to playing either of them.

How are you Nin? Long time no see.

Not sure what happened to him, but turning 2D and rapping in a game sounds a bit fun!

Got a few Pot Noodles (one of which I nearly threw away as it was opened...but thought I couldn't be bothered to take it back and promptly ate it before I started to think about it), milk, bread, instant noodles, Fajitas and Nachos.  I swear I bought more things that are actually healthier, but they've slipped out of my mind.

50% noodles?  Don't do it!  You remember what happened to Parappa the Rappa?

Good afternoon all.

Just had a weekly shop for the house (although I am young I didn't resort to just buying noodles...although their various forms formed about half of the things I bought).

Cooler outside today, so I do sense a change of weather on the way.  Will proably be going out tonight with my ex-colleagues from Game.  Fireworks and a few drinks sounds like a laugh.

Hopefully it won't be too long to wait now Cong_man for the TV.  Waiting for things is bad, but waiting for things that you've sent off to come back is even worse :(

Morning.  Another bright one, but I hear rain might be moving in soon.  Hope not.  Maybe in the evening would be better.

How's everyone doing today, then?

I see that Virgin have that mobile internet thing, where you don't need a router at home (though it only goes up to 1.3mbps in most areas).  Good idea if it can grow to faster speeds, you wouldn't be stuck to one place for your normal net access then.

Look forward to giving you a game GP.  We'll have to do a forum games night I think.

Back to football, I am in two mind about City getting promoted - good for Bristol, but bad for my team.
Either way, I'll be wearing my Rovers shirt to watch it!

If they do go to Wembley, I will be watching it at my local (a notorious City fan bar).  I suppose I will get behind them (as I always do when it comes to Bristol teams in big competitions), but would be so much sweeter seeing all the gloomy faces on the city supporters that give you grief all year round.

Right, I'm now going to get around to tidying the house.

My internet is still not fixed. I'm using one of those web and walk sticks. I'm just going through the formalities of communicating with Virgin Media and I might be back playing online games again within the next month. :)

Thursday's supposed to be the last sunny day, I think.

Not really into the ol' football, otherwise I'd go and see Exeter City play Cambridge in Wembley.

I'm just sitting here in between telecons, drinking tea and eating M&S dark chocolate Jaffa Cakes.

:D

Good afternoon all.  Think our sunny spell is due to end by the end of the week. I got sunburnt yesterday :(

Just been downstairs to get my lunch and it looks like a bomb has hit it!  Now I know how my mum feels when it's one task after another.  As much as I will regret I later, I will now have to stop learning formy new job, take everyone's mess and tidy it up etc, do all the household chores and probably miss the sunshine :(  Guess it's all good practice for when I become a dad.

But on a lighter note, semi-final championship play-offs tonight.  Bristol born, but would rather hope palace beat city - it's bad enough my team now have to play in Cheltenham, whilst the new stadium is built, let alone our rivals playing Premiership football next season.

Glad it went well for you.  I hate presentations.  Probably as I had to do so many back in school.

Get talking with him - who knows, you could end up working for them.  Depends if you're content where you are though.

I don't know if we're lucky to have the hot weather here in the south west.  I managed to get sunburnt cutting the grass.  Although I'm exhausted and I cant get the smell of cut grass out of my skin, can't wait to cut it again next week.  Is this the sign I'm getting older?

Didn't you game for like 30 of them?

Absolutely knackered.  Lawn took longer than expected as the weather was so hot that the fuel consumption somehow went up (motor was so hot that during the times I refuelled it was evaporating immediately :S).

Nationwide gave me about 20 leaflets and forms to go over in preparation to when I start work, so will go through those tomorrow.

Enjoyed walking the dog, got a chance to catch up with some of the elderly neighbours down the road that used to attend a club I helped run at my school when I was back in sixth form.  plus a nice girl smiled at me and said hi as we passed.

*Realises that sounds like a Machie moment*

Morning all.

Sounded like you had a rough night pb.  Mirrored for me as last night was the first good night's sleep I have had in ages.  Enjoy your free lunch and good luck with the presentations.

Woke up at 6 as have a long list of what I want to do today.  Grandparents dropped the dog off this morning at 7 as they wanted to get the car MOT'd and it's actually a pleasure to have him back living with us (if only for a day here and there, until the parents get back).  Washed up, vacuumed, put a load of washing on the go and hung it out to dry - tidied up etc and it's not even 9.30 yet.

Plan on cutting the grass today (oddly enough I am getting excited about it) and then then our neighbour's lawns.  A trip to Nationwide to get some information on what I will be selling when I start a week Thursday.

Also planning to keep my Xbox gaming below 2 hours today and limit the use of my TV.  I know I won't be able to use it as often when I'm working, but I really don't want to be on it all day everyday - more for the worry of the power bill.

As you have gathered, I could quite happily avoid doing anything else by the way I am avoiding it by posting an extraordinarily long post :p

Well, Alana woke up just before midnight (hence me still being on here at that time last night) and couldn't get back to sleep, then I woke up with a really bad stomach in the early hours.  I'm shattered now and I've got to give a presentation this afternoon to some of our new collegues.

But at least it means another free lunch.

Fun game of football just now which almost descended into a ruck because of some wannabe gangster idiot getting all angry when my mate shoulder barged him off the ball.

Ah well 2nd week in a row where i don't feel like i've been run over, good good

Sounds interesting. May just go out and eat the Shaggy Inkcap mushrooms that are growing in the field next to the house.  Meant to kill you if consumed with alcohol :S

I struggle to keep 2 pints/cans of beer/coke in me, so I'm sure 140 cans of red bull  killing me would be unlikely.  Be an energetic death to say the least.

You won't be able to do it anyway

The thing is you'll need all 140 cans inside you at the same time, it needs to be in your system concurrently so it has a chance of killing you

Unless you have some sort of super piping system I'd stick to alcohol

Or if you really want I just got a book on Poisonous Mushrooms and I'll have a look for something that will kill you if you'd prefer
