'Color of Wet Mud!' Oreos Invade England

See I told you!

we Brits call all cookies 'biscuits'

We do? I thought we called biscuits "biscuits" and cookies "cookies". Oreas are biscuits.

Oh god it gets worse, from reading the comments I just found out that to Americans a biscuit is actually a scone :S How can they get things so mixed up? I can't look at a scone and say it just doesn't suit it.

Oreo is owned by Nabisco. Nabisco was originally known as National Biscuit Company.

Yeah, looking forward to it myself.

Would love to see Indy as well, but cinema is so expensive these days.

Anyway, morning people.

Heh, it is a great event even if it does usually result in processions.

I'm actually going to miss qualifying for the Grand Prix this weekend. I managed to get tickets to an afternoon showing of Indiana Jones for £1. Also free drink and pizza before the film too. I'll record qualifying though. Wouldn't miss it.

Still no joy on the internet front. I would be pretty angry about it but I don't have the energy.

No internet means no online games and no downloadable content so I can't download any of the Rock Band songs that have become available. I can't even play my downloaded Arcade games because it requires that I'm online.

Morning people.  Sunny but cold down in Devon this morning.

Probably not going to see much sun today, though.  Will be stuck in the office.

I've accumulated several CDs and a new watch with the latest ones, and my Amazon gift balance is now completely wiped... but it was nice to get Motorhead's Another Perfect Day and a decent timepiece for 18p, among other purchases!

And now, back to revising for my last history exam. Blame that and some rather over-the-top partying at the tail end of last week for me not being on here much...

All the ID stuff went in this forum.  I'll take a look as well.

You could start here.

Recommend you go to Amazon Marketplace, this one looks good.

The DS Real is one of the few that can use a SDHC card, so you can use larger Micro SD cards such as 4gb or 16gb.  If you're not too worried about space, go for the cheaper DS Simply card, though the springs tend to go in those.

That tends to happen to most of our DIY jobs.  Although it's now running in to years, rather than months!

I'm fairly bored. Once i finished sanding yesterday i found a load of rawl plugs behind the plaster which needed taking out. Naturally that left more holes that needed plastering so i've been doing that today and now i'm waiting for it to dry so i can resume sanding. My 3-day plan for this job is getting longer all the time. I wanted to have finished painting by tonight, i've not even started.

Video Game Music Quiz 2 update: Things are going well. I've got about half of the tracks and after a recent brainwave, the rest shouldn't be far behind. I'll have to record a fair few myself from the games I have but I don't see it being a problem now.

Morning Vee and anyone else around.

Manx TT sounds good, would love to go back to Silverstone though to see the F1, if I had the time and money.

Morning.

Hope everyone is doing okies.

Im not to bad, finally got the rain here this morning. Missing all the sunshine already lol.

Not really up to to much today. Apart from looking for a sitter to have my kids for a week. Im going to hopefully be going to the Isle of Man for TT 2008.

Trying to get someone to look after the kids is the difficult part though so far no luck but my ex's mum is trying her best to help me out bless her.

Yeah, I'm waiting for 2 now.  If I didn't want Smash Bros so badly, I'd get a new external HD, or a 250GB one to put inside the PS3. Maybe I'll save one back...

Sore throat?  Stupid Pixie has been ill with a cold and I think I've picked it up.  Hopefully it won't amount to anything.

Shocked to see I'd won a GAD today, still waiting for my previous win, so hopefully they could bundle the two together.  May treat the household to one of those Tefal Kettle things (makes the water hot in seconds).  Or just put it towards an iPod or something.

Just watching the England Legends beat the Scottish Legends on TV.  Pretty good mach seeming most of the players are retired.

Think I'm getting a sore throat.  Not surprised, the kids both have colds and have been a bit moany at nights.

Better finish work now, did some extra hours to ensure my half day tomorrow in the morning.  Loads to do when I get to work in the afternoon though, as usual.

Spent some more money on games (£20) even though I said I wouldn't. Now I'm going to have to pay it back to myself.  I'm determined not to buy any more now, bar getting Smash Bros with my GAD.   Hopefully I'll be able to sell some stuff on ebay and find another way to make money before Battlefield: Bad Company comes out!

Knackered. I've been up since 9am yesterday since i couldnt sleep last night and i've been in Central London since 10 making sure my mum got on the right coach (I've sent her away for a break while i'm decorating, otherwise there would be war). Right now i'd like to lay down but as i'm taking care of my sister i'll have to wait until after i've done the cooking. I'll probably be up all night getting on with the decorating i was supposed to be doing this morning.
