Free Apps

Tap Tap Revenge 2
This is kinda like a Guitar Hero game, you can download lots of free songs and I love playing it when I have a spare moment. It's also fun doing two players with someone else at the same time.

Paid Apps

Things (£5.99)
This is a great app if you create a lot of to-do lists. So today when I went to the library to use their self service machine to check out some books. Rather than memorise the date they're due back I just enter it into Things and put the date and it'll remind me as the date approaches.

As I write the things I want to do, I also give them tags like "girlfriend" if it's about my girlfriend and "2 minutes" if the task will only take 2 minutes to do. I even use those two tags together, which usually ends in disappointment.

Monkey Island: Special Edition (£4.99)
I'm cheating because I haven't purchased this yet, but I also wanted to play it again. There's a free version if you'd like to try that. They've upgraded the graphics and now have voice actors, which is great for my brother who has trouble reading. I think you can switch back to the older version if you want and turn off the voice actors if you want.

I'll add a decent review when I get round to buying this.

Which ones do you suggest Hmmm :) I was thinking about doing a Twitter thread too as I've started to follow a lot more people. Plus I find it weird reading celebrities talk to each other just like normal people.

Wiki app (just in case i need random knowledge)
Right Move (looking for a house lol)

These are the only useful ones from that list (i.e. the only ones I have)

Also should add that 'Sky Sports Soccer Saturday' is an epic app for giving me all the footie scores wherever I am.

Couple of novelty apps I have;
PBJTime - The Peanut Butter Jelly Time banana dancing to the PBJT song.
Lightsaber - It's a lightsaber, nuff said
Bump - The contact sharing app from the advert, only used it once
Saw VI Voice Changer - Does what it says on the tin
Battle.net Authenticator - Extra security for my Blizzard/Battle.net account
AroundMe - An app that shows me local bars/restaurants/hotels etc
iDaft - A Daft Punk soundsboard featuring clips from 'Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger'
iTrains Tube - Tube map and network status messages, useful if I'm in London

I have it (and Peggle Nights) on my Mac and it's great -- fire it up for a quick play and end up losing an hour.

Some great apps there guys. I'm very slowly checking them all out.

I just found out they have Civilization, Doom and Wolfenstein games too. Now if only they would do an app for Theme Park and Theme Hospital.

Is Peggle Nights a sequel then ?,Haven't seen it on XBLA so presume its a PC game ?.Will have a look for it as I loved the original. You are right about it sucking time up I wasted hours on it.Goes to show you don't need fancy graphics and complicated gameplay mechanics to make a great, fun game.

A sort-of sequel, yes, i.e. more levels, more challenges, downloadable levels and a new character.

Available for Mac, PC and DS.
