I love martial arts, but I just can't watch little kids punching and kicking the hell out of each other. If you've studied a martial arts (pb) how do you feel about this 'MMA'?
This isn't just an American phenomenon. It's also over here in Britain (unfortunately). I liked the eight year onlooker who said it was “too creepy”, as he’s spot on. As a kid I found being forced into Thai boxing fairly unsavoury, but what they’re doing is just brawling, with about as much technique as a professional wrestler (which isn't very much at all).
Agreed. At the end they have a little girl and boy fighting each other, all red faced. The MMA teacher said he had parents coming in trying to get their 3 year olds into his class "I can't do anything with 3 year olds".
Totally unacceptable, i had to stop watching it after 2 minutes. This is a different thing entirely from something like boxing or traditional martial arts which is about disclipline and control. This is nothing but brutality and the parents should be ashamed for even considering it.
