Welcome to the forums :)

As both of your films where made in 98/99 I'm assume you are referring to favourite film of the 1990's? If you are then you are clearly forgetting Pulp Fiction as that should be your favourite.

I see you like gritty realism then. AHX was a damn good film, and I like the way that the message changes depending on the viewer and the maturity levels involved. :)

I watched it when I was quite young and thought (as you do) yeah they deserve this, that's just how it was in America.
When I see it now though it's almost sad, or thought invoking.

Still my favourite film of this century? Hmmm... really really difficult. So many. Probably... well no I actually can not answer.

Braveheart goes up there for the 90's though. Not top favourite but definately up there.

Quite true, but your earlier tagline has somewhat mysteriously changed and the question did refer initially to the earlier one:

>PS Which are you:

>'Reach for the heights or Launch forth into the deep'

(Translated loosely, of course) :-)

Water Lilies.

It is a French film following two girls and their voyage of adolescent sexual discovery. Oh, and the backdrop is the competitive world of high school synchronised swimming.

fav movie? Tough choice, too many to choose from. Partly from my belief that any movie that entertains is a good one.

I suppose a recent high was the dark knight. That really did make me go WOAH! and promptly buy the dvd at full whack.

Is that the one with Richard Gere in it ?,wasn't he a lawyer defending some nice guy who was supposed to be a murderer or something ?.if it is the film I have just described (probably very badly) then yeah and I seem to remember thinking it was pretty good.

I wondered which translation, of your previous 'tagline', was the one you went with:-)

'Reach for the heights or Launch forth into the deep'

Two distinct possibilities and two very different meanings...I wonder which choice would be selected by others within the forum.....
