Thankfully only ever had a slight time delay on getting post, but it was sorted swiftly!

Has anybody in freeola towers received my GAD claim for my Splinter Cell review yet?

I've sent a few e-mails (as I'm now used to receiving one back) and nothing has been updated on the winners list.  I know there was a problem with claiming a few weeks back, so that's why I'm asking through the forum (and making use of my "whinge" thread :P)

If you've received it, sorry for pestering you and thanks again for the win :D

Are you supposed to get a response after submitting your claim?

I claimed a GAD prize at least 4 weeks ago (no sent receipt after sending via web-mail) for a win in October. I know I sent it before it dropped off the winners board but got no response and, as yet, no reply.  I put that down to me being too late but... I've also recently claimed for a win on the 26th Feb which also hasn't been updated nor responded to...yet.

I'm beginning to think I'm doing something wrong.

Any help/soothing noises would be welcomed.

Did you send it from the email address you signed up with?  That's pretty important.

I'm sure the staff will sort it out, though.  They're all pretty good.  Just wait for them to see this post. {waves at staff!}

Thanks Butch - i think i will order HAWX regardless but if i could get the special Plane for pre-ordering it would be sweet!

Also i think that maybe there should be some kind of staff competition so the winner can get a GAD. They do all the work for us and get no prize! Maybe something could be done for them.

JimTheDog - I get a copy of all the incoming Game-A-Day claims and I don't seem to have any messages from yourself recently. Looking at our claimed prizes, you claimed Call Of Duty: World At War for your win on the 28th October, did you receive this prize?

I also agree that a response to all Game-A-Day claims would be handy, so ill try and ensure that all future claims have a response within a day.

Emmie87 - We have no problem pre-ordering games for you, simply just request the game as you usually do, and it will be sent out when available. (I think there generally sent out early so you get them on release date, but obviously can't guarantee this.)

Hippyman - I don't have any outstanding requests from you, it appears that your claims have been put through.

I have submitted my claim for HAWX now - can someone please confirm it has been recieved and pre-ordered! Really excited about getting this game, fancy flying at high speed and doing some online dog fighting lol.

I enjoyed what i played, seemd like simple shooting and flying fun.
May not be one i stick with until the end but will provide a nice variation to my gaming collection that i have played recently.

Need to finish Banjo & Kazooie asap and then i would like to get some more Last Remnant done, but cant seem to get past playing Bajo and Kazooie so it should be done pretty soon!

i wrote a review on it last night, if you want to see my opinion on it!

I saw it for £18 at CEX and snapped it up, any old games or DVDs you got you could trade in and get it then. Really fun game that i am enjoying.

I moved house over two years ago but my contact address starting '4 A....' is correct and has been since shortly after I moved.

Nothing of great interest but just a small note regarding pre-orders of games.

We are happy to pre-order games however can only order the games a week before they are due to release. Obviously this does not prevent you from waiting to claim until a week before the game is released, if you wish.

I would say that we were just testing you, but unfortunately that isn't true.

It does indeed appear that the Review was copied from the web site you have mentioned.

This is not allowed and our rules clearly state:

"In submitting written material you agree to indemnify Freeola Ltd against all liabilities arising from infringement of copyright or intellectual property rights. Basically, in plain English - this means that the material must be original and written by you or reproduced with the permission of the original copyright holder. Please do not send other people's work without permission. If you do, you run the risk of being banned from our site."

Therefore the forum member's Game-A-Day has been removed.

Thank you Hmmm... for taking the time to notice this, I will have to ensure that we pay more attention to Game-A-Day claims in future.

I will try to establish another winner this evening, if not at some point tomorrow.
