Ok, as some of you maybe aware, i'm writing some reviews of anime shows.

Now heres the thing, i want to encourage some people to watch some of the anime and understand how i feel (along with writing the review). Case in point cowboy bebop.

I was hoping to provide a link to a website that you can watch it for free online similar to the likes of Youtube.

Is this strictly ok?

Probably not, but am i allowed to add a link to it?

As a teacher used to tell me, if in doubt, do it, say sorry later.

Check to see if it's on "legal" sites like crunchyroll first. But I don't see this being a problem. We've all linked to copyrighted material on youtube before.

I'm watching a new anime show at the moment, I definitely can't link to it and I probably shouldn't even mention the title. It's very ecchi (English usuage if  others are going to wikipedia what it means).

Looking forward to reading your reviews.

Whatever Machie but why:

'I definitely can't  link to it and I probably shouldn't even mention the title'

But as you have said, 'other links' are readily accepted

Well, the website simply links other stuff that others have uploaded. Personally i prefer that someone at freeola told me whether its ok as this can be a legal issue and the sucn.

I'll work on the other reviews and look back and see if i can improve on the current one i've just finished. No words could describe how awesome cowboy bebop was. I was hoping that maybe giving people the links they might get to see it and show that there is more to anime then the stuff thats on uk tv right now.

Ah, anime central, i miss you so much. You died too young...

TBH, i'm finding writing reviews for anime a bit difficult, its made doubly difficult when i'm trying to summerise the entire series in 2 pages or less.

Don't expect magic with this review, i'm a bit miffed by it.

As far as I see it, ha ha 'old f*rt' etc etc, post away..

What you are saying is perfectly viable but I would have thought that 'links' are essential to a review, but as has been intimated/suggested earlier, provide the link and if there is any objection then the thread/post/link will be removed.

Post it mate. If we don't like it we will take it down. Or alternatively if you do have any fears email me them first and I'll say yes or no within a couple of minutes (if I'm in office)

great. I've got 2 reviews and a third one on the way. They're lengthy ones because i've just finished far cry 2 and now purifying my body for the zombie apocalypse.

Oh and taking on russians.

Well bought it god knows when and i've been playing it for the last 3 weeks and finished it. Screw searching for all the cases as i didn't need the cash and screw finding the tapes. There was a bug so that i could listen to anything everytime i picked up a new one.

I hate Far Cry 2.... Biggest let down i've bought game wise. I don't know what's wrong with it, i just don't like it. Anyway, i'd say posting links is ok. Can't be any worse than youtube. There's whole movies posted in parts on youtube, and if that's not copyright infringement, i don't know what is. Then again, Youtube hasn't got its priorities right. It lets you post whole movies up (in parts) but removes copyrighted music tracks?! Makes me laugh...

They still do it to any videos i've uploaded, or my mates have. Youtube have put me right off with that. It's not like you earn money from youtube videos, but rather spread the popularity of the music, so i don't see why it's a copyright breach. The song will be all over the internet for public consumption anyway. I hate WMG... and Far Cry :P

Far cry 2 was like what STALKER would have been if it was refined by a decent developer.

Admittedly it ran out of steam at the end, and the constant Guard posts and random people trying to kill you got annoying, but i found it entertaining. Especially with DX10 settings set to Very High.

When I come to power, the first thing I'll do is ban baked beans.  The second thing I'll do though is ban anime.  At which point I'll round up all anime fans and have them gathered in town squares around the country so people can point and laugh at them.

I managed to run STALKER on my VERY low spec computer. Everything was on low settings, but it still ran, and to be honest, i prefered STALKER compared to Far Cry 2. The original Far Cry was sooo much better than Far Cry 2, but it's just so random. It's one game were the storyline NEEDS to be made obvious, because most of the time, i don't know what i'm supposed to do. I usually just get killed by some random guys who shout at me and then get saved by some woman. BORING! ;)

I dunno, i found it a blast. With the awesome power of quick save and some handy equipment i just blew them to pieces. The place usually ended up like a smoking ruin when i left. But i hate the gits on towers who had rocket launchers they made life miserable.

Far cry was good until the trigens came and ruined everything. The volcano finale was one of the most horrific part of all.

With that I agree totally SB :-)  Mind you, having said that, I didn't get a lot out of Stalker either ... having waited for so long during its development, it kind of lost its appeal when it finally arrived.

STALKER was a rough gem, i found the game interesting and hilarious at the same time. If you can get past the early stages, work round the games mechanics (shooting apparently was notoriously difficult) it was quite rewarding.

Clear sky wasn't good. That game was a broken mess and the mechanics even more broken that it was a chore to complete. Hell the only reason that I completed it was because the AI crapped out and allowed me to defeat the final boss.

thank you. Hopefully the anime reviews with be decent. It'll be sometime before i get them released though. I've already had to rewrite one of them and i'm contemplating rewriting another.
