If I buy Guitar Hero 3 DLC, will it work with Guitar Hero World Tour?

Ive got the Metallica : Death Magnetic album off Xbox live for GH3,pretty sure it works on World Tour as well.

B*gger. I was hoping the guitar parts would work.
Although the GH3 game is supposed to work with the GH:WT guitar, so I may just get that, as the tracklist looks pretty good.

It won't work. Guitar Hero 3 doesn't have support for the remaining band where World Tour is all about the band. Rock Band and Rock Band 2 are essentially the same game so DLC works across both games.

And to answer your question: As they are both separate games and as Activision are a typical money grabbing games company they wont work.
