What General forum doesn't have a General Knowledge quiz, well, now this one does.
In this thread General Knowledge questions will be asked and you, the ppl, must give answers. After this first question, the winner will be stated here and then will have to give a question; and so on and so forth. Please don't use the internet, cause where's the fun in that.

The author of the question has to tell people who guess whetehr they are correct or wrong.

Rules
1)If no-one gets the answer within 24 hours of it being posted then the person who set it must ask a new one.
2)If no new question is set within 5 hours someone else will have to set a new question.
3)If you find out the answer on the internet(i.e.Google,Wikipedia) then you can't enter.
4)If you answer a question, you will get a point, providing that you also set a question.
5)No points will be added to the setter's total if no-one answers their question (Because than you could just set a really hard question that no-one would get)

Well done Garin.  I had no idea how to answer the second part as I didn't really have a clue on how much bigger.

I need to shape up my general knowledge...

Ok, it's been long enough and Garin is the nearest. The Pacific is the largest ocean and is about twice as big as the Atlantic -

Pacific Ocean  60,050,000 sq miles
Atlantic Ocean  29,600,000 sq miles

Over to you Garin...

See Hippyman, Garin used the old '....' times bigger method of sizing, try that and not % :) Good luck

The Pacific

Have no idea for the second part or how to answer it - by an extra 34%?

Thank you Timmargh and while I'm still basking in all this 'adulation' :) (thanks Hippyman) I do agree with Garin, so for Garin and the 'good old days' - the next question:

Which is larger and by how much The Atlantic or the Pacific Ocean?

I can't think of anymore ruminants that the ones that have been said!

Still going with either a Buffalo or camel (although Camel has been ruled out)

Having read the clue, it needs to be a ruminant ie has four stomachs etc,

So it's not a cow, sheep, pig or goat then what about a deer or a donkey?

Trying to think back as far as humans have existed and gather (using the clue) that it was some sort of buffalo, but I'm not sure if they were domesticated.  But they did do what was said in the clue.

Wolf would be another answer but I can't fit it in with the clue (although thinking of it, it may make better sense than dog :/)

Camel?  I don't have a clue really.  Just we used them. Horse or Camel would make sense.

Animal? Would have to be a sheep, goat or pig as 'second' domestication!

You did get a point for the last question if someone is keeping a  score

How long this will last I don't, most of the pubs I can remember over the last 30 years all seem to have suffered horrific name changes!
