speaking of GADS, i still haven't recieved a large number of them. The last one i recieved was way back in 2/6/08. I didn't think second class postage took so long. Usually a week tops.

I think the difference between cheats and walkthoughs is that there are few ways to word cheats, they are pretty much the same however you word them, but copying a walkthough is basically copying someone else's hard work going through a game bit by bit rather than doing it yourself.

Plus there are usually more ways to get through a game than just one.

But then again - i think if you have permission and credit the work to the original it is ok.

And if your looking at it like that then if you do not discover a cheat for yourself, but take it from a website or a book then is it not kind of the samething.

I am pretty sure it has been stated that walkthroughs can be copied - but i agree a topic with a quick yes or no would be a good idea!

So there is nothing to stop anyone copying a walkthrough (maybe even one they have nicked off this site!),posting it as there own and they could possibly win a GAD for it?.Got to admit that does kind of suck.What about reviews,creative writing etc.?.Winning posts should really be the members own work IMO.

Machie said it not the mods (although supposedly came from a mod). As of yet, there has been no official word from the mods and hence no green light. Until a mod like vexxed says so directly (not hard, just a new topic with a quick confirmation will do), i'm still not convinced that you CAN copy walkthroughs.

Yes, it's annoying, especially for all of those who spend time writing their own walkthoughs.

I don't bother with Walkthroughs, too much effort, but that doesn't mean I'd go and copy other people's...

Can it be a badge rather than a medal?

We had a special cellar installed two months ago, it combines a prison/sacrificial pit, and also a special area for pinning badges to people, so ideally you would need to come here.
