I've been on the site 90 days today. Tomorrow, i will get my final status, my purple regular :D
Just a little fun to liven Sunday up and to celebrate, i've made a 'Blockbuster Quiz'. I'm sure you'll all understand how to play, but for those who don't, i give you one or two letters that are the first letters of the one or two word answer. SImply copy and paste the questions, write your answer underneath the corresponding question, and put it all in a spoiler button (to try and stop people copying). Some questions will be easy, some will be extremely hard. I don't expect anyone to get full marks, but good luck! So here we go!
1.What 'S' was a game made in 1961, often credited as the first ever computer game?
2.What 'S' is a baby oyster?
3.'E' 'N' wrote "The Railway Children. What was her name?
4.'L' 'S' invented Jeans. What was his name?
5.'E=MC2'. What does the 'E' stand for?
6.'S' 'C' invented the revolver. What was his name?
7.What 'C' 'C' does a cartophilist collect?
8.What 'A' did the Romans build to carry clean water into towns and cities?
9.What 'E' describes a large, uncontrollable outbreak of a disease?
10.What 'L' 'P' were in power after the Second World War and sought to create a ‘land fit for heroes’?
11.What 'M' who, as an ancient civilisation, are believed to have developed the first toilets?
12.What 'S' is the name of an area of very poor housing?
Twelve blockbusters for you to get your teeth into.
Good luck, and here's to many more months on Freeola! :D
