Sorry to sound so annoying and "lawful" but It's not COD6 It's CODMW:2 Modern Warfare is a subseries to the COD series :P

I have to say, i've got to grips with CoD 4 completely now. For new players, CoD 5 is no doubt the best, but once you've had them for awhile, i now prefer CoD 4, as there's just so much more in it, the weapons are way more than exciting, as are the maps. Then again, lets see what CoD 6 brings. I've a feeling CoD 6 multiplayer will just be CoD 4 with riot shield ;S - and of coursea new story for the singleplayer. Gonna make a post about it :D

Seriously though, play it online, you will never want to play COD4 or 5 again :D

I was considering doing a huge review, comparing the 2 games, as i've reviewed them both individually, and want to compare them. I have to say, at this moment i prefer CoD 5, BUT only because i haven't completely got to grips with CoD 4. In saying that, i've not had CoD 5 long, and it caters for new players alot better than CoD 4. So, yes, CoD 5 for me. Although single player campaign, has to be CoD 4.

CoD5 was an extremely good game and a hell of a challenge on veteren, but in places there were some clear examples of places where corners may have been cut. aside from some minor glitches it`s a very polished game, but the difficulty settings have been done in a slightly hamhanded way imo. your soldiers become as much use as a paper hat in a rainstorm and the enemy soldiers apparantly decide that you`re the only person in the whole war worth shooting at. There`s also a couple of glaring examples of linearity as well (triggering a major event on a later level can only be done by playing a certain route) but overall, very very good.
CoD4 is better.

However I assume you mean you prefer COD 5 because you are good at it? Which is good, but I still believe COD 4 wins overall.

Soz HM, if we're talking PC here, I'll go with the tank campaigns in COD(PC) and COD: United Offensive(PC). COD2 (PC) not quite as 'gripping' as these earlier offerings - something seemed to have changed?

I would assume that its telling you your graphics card is unable to handle the game. Are you actually managing to get the game running at all?
I would suggest as general advice that you always check system requirements before purchasing PC games.
COD4 System requirements states that you will need
"Video card: 3.0 Shader Support recommended. Nvidia Geforce 7800 or better or ATI Radeon X1800 or better "

4! Online is good on 5 but the general gameplay isn't a patch on 4.

I'm really enjoying 5..never really gelled with 4. Two completely different games really (WW and Modern Combat). Can't really decide...

I haven't played 5 yet, bar the beta online, but from what everyone says there's no competition; 4 is the best.
5 is still worth getting, by the sound of it, though.
