The name of the forum says it all really. We will often mention the odd update and game on here but i think we need a forum (possible sticky) which allows people to note of new and old things on either console that is worth mentioning.
I for one probably miss out on loads of great games and demos just from forgetting to check. So this should help!

The first one i want to say is Marvel vs Capcom 2 is on Xbox Live, i played the demo and it just plays like it did on the ps2, the demo has 6 characters to play as but you can only play local multiplayer.
Think it is 1200M$, i liked the game on Ps2 but i aint sure i will be picking this one up as i get bored of fighters very quickly.

I downloaded that yesterday, as a major fan of Tekken, I'm no stranger to pulling off lengthy combos, but I find this game really hard :(

Yeah it was on Ps2, doing their "special" moves where you hit both shoulder buttons is easy enough lol, but i agree with it being a bit tricky (im not a massive beat em up fan so i get bored if it is too hard lol)

Meh.....depends how tolerant you are. Read my review on it if you want.
In one line: A decent game where gameplay is well designed, albeit buggy.

Its a lot easier using the Madcatz Streetfighter Pad.Totally worthwhile add on for 360 Beat Em Up fans IMO.Think the game is expensive at 1200 M$ points though.

Thought i would try breath some life into this topic, it is a very useful idea and can keep you up to date with the latets demos and news!
I tried Trials HD on Xbox Live and it was fun for a few minutes but it was like games you play on miniclip, just better graphics lol.
I would not buy it!!

Played this on my ipod touch, it is a fun little game, i was not bowled over and didnt want to pay £5 on my ipod for it, so played the demo and got my fill lol

Xbox Live Demo Update;
Mini Ninjas - i downloaded and had a very quick play, it seems fun and could be a good buy, but need to play more and see what the depth is like.
Lost Planet 2 Co-op - I have downloaded but not played yet, i was not a massive fan of the first but not sure how this will play.

Played the Lost Planet 2 Demo, i have to say it is really not my thing. I have deleted it from my hard drive. Movement is slow and clunky, graphics are ok but it all seemed a bit slow and i didnt really like it

Am loving Sturmovik. It's great having an arcade and simulation mode which feel very different to each other. Can't wait to try out online dogfighting in the full game either.

The only thing I have tried recently was the DIRT 2 demo.Graphics are fantastic but the game didn't blow me away TBH.It was just the same old rubbish really.Going to wait for Forza 3.I would class DIRT 2 is a definite try before you buy.

not a racing fan, unless it is more fun and silly race games like Mario Kart etc.
But might give it a try as i am open to all games. Looking forward to trying WET, not too sure what it is about but i like getting new demos

WET is good fun (based on the demo) but I can see it getting a bit samey. Feels very much like a blend of Stranglehold and The Club.

Play as joker for free is so annoying, i hope Xbox get this, even if it is 500MS or something, it would be very fun and it would add so much to the game.
Also Star Wars FU has loads of DLC, might be worth getting this cheap again i think. i enjoyed the game loads and there seems to be a lot of new content and missions. I love star wars games,something about having a lightsaber lol

Gahh I keep posting on my test account.
Anyways, Bomberman may be purchased later if I'm not out drinking.
But saying that, it took me 10 mins to turn my PS3 on again last night. After about 10 succesful boot-ups in a row, it kept flashing random lights at me last night and eventually turned on before completely crashing out :@

Updated about 6.30pm I think, seems to be quite late at the moment.

Will download Forza for the weekend. Demo's i've tried thus far have been FIFA 10 (very buggy, but final game looks sets to be alot better than 09). Also tried NBA 10, was very bad at it as i'm not a basketballer, but it was fun to play. WET is a strange game to place, as it was fun, but thinking back, it's not amazingly good, it's a nice funky little shooter with some awesome effects, but that 'matrix mode' gets repetetive.
Instead of Forza, i had a go of DiRT 2, very worth getting if you're a rally fan, as it's fantastic! I prefer touring cars and formula one, but i still enjoyed it! Will get Forza 3 to play for the weekend, and will update you with any other games worth looking at on Live :)

I see that Brutal Legend demo is also up on XBL for those who have an early access code to the demo.
PSN had some great games yesterday and they all downloaded pretty fast too:
Finally PS3 owners get Heavy Weapon (£6.99), which is quite fun in a Swidewinder type way (anyone remember that game or the sequel SWIV?)
