They've done an update? Ooh.  I'll have to take a look.

Unlucky, I think it's just the US that have it on their list at the moment...

Because it's all software emulation.  The 360 had this from the start, it was disappointing but at least everyone got the same thing.  The PS3 first shipped in the US with the emotion chip from the PS2 in, so it could play any PS2 game.  Then they took it out to save money for the european launch and for the next batch of US machines, so that's now software based as well.

Nope, the link is out of date (or atleast the list that's at that URL is...)

I've just got Doom 3: Resurrection of Evil running on my 360 which before E3 was a non-runner on the 360 and isn't yet on that list :)

Trading my copy of Morrowind in against Gears of War is probably the biggest mistake I ever made in my gaming lifetime.  Fortunately, I found it in stock today in Bristol at one of the local indies (£12).
