Walkthroughs and cheats have dropped off again. Let's get em pumping people!

Yes it will. As we will add teh game to our database and add the cheats as lnog as they are valid.

And although bringing in other users won't technically help you win a GA, it will improve your position within our office :D

I notice a lot of posts based upon how you win free games from you Eddie. This is good of course, so I will explain a few things.

The Gaming Awards are not in the style of "Post 100 cheats and win a game". The GA's are awarded bi-weekly (twice a week), one for technical posts on Thursday and then Tuesday for the Gaming side of things.

The awards are given based on Freeola deciding the appropriate winner. There are no "set requirements" for this, it is purely decided by Freeola.

Overall remember the GA's are an incentive to help create traffic through the site. If you submit data that will aid us, or add to our database of information then we will acknowledge this.

So in summary, submit lots of stuff that will help bring other people to our site=win prizes!

Look to each individual section to see examples of how other people have won GA's.

Well yeah, you have to of played it first of all. You give feedback on how good it was for things like the storyline, graphics, gameplay etc. and then usually give it a rating out of 10.

People often use reviews to determine whether or not they buy the game, so be honest and make it quite long and in-depth for people to read through - otherwise it's bit of a waste of time.

All cheats, walkthroughs and tips are checked and moderated by Freeola Support staff and moderators before appearing on the site. If your tips, cheats or walkthroughs were invalid, duplicates or not to the standard we require for such things these would be rejected and not appear on the site.

This moderation process can take up to 48 hours depending on workload, staff availability and how many other cheats we have to read through.

ive submitted about 10 cheats, 2 walkthroughs, and 1 tip but it only says that ive submitted 1 cheat
and it doesnt say ive submitted the tip but it is on the tips bit unlike the walkthroughs and cheats!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Here's my walkthrough for Tetris.

Connect the blocks in such a way to make horizontal lines, thus increasing your score. Good luck.

Also people, please remember that cheats can win Gaming Awards too.

I know there have been a lot of cheats and walkthroughs this week, but I want more! :D

The submissions are getting heavier Chris, you may want to consider broadening your GAD winning methods ;)

A sudden influx of walkthroughs and cheats has moderately excited me today. Seems some of the efforts may be paying off.

I entered a walkthrough ages ago and didn't win. I put a lot of work into that too. Not that I'm bitter or anything. :D

Noticing recently that the amount of walkthroughs submitted is next to zero (its actually zero)

For all you game people on here, don't forget that walkthrough submissions do count towards GAD nominations. And as the general amount of effort/work in a walkthrough outweighs a review you can see the possibilities of improving your chances at winning :D

Note: However please realise that we check these things before they are finally put in the database. You would not believe some of the walkthroughs that have been rejected :)
