Some good news for RPG fans who went with the PS3 like myself.

Dragon Age: Origins released Europe on Oct 23 Info
Its more an action/adventure/RPG of the Fable nature from the looks. But you have multiple playing paths which is always good for playability.

White Knight Chronicles released Nov '09 Q&A
More Final Fantasy style'd then DA:O and apparently with great online capabilites so..... much awaited.

Demon's Souls released Oct 6th Info
More action/RPG again but hey, we can't afford to be picky. Game footage looks ok, and previews seems decent. The online aspect seems good, allowing users to pop in and help youat any time if you wish, but this quote troubles me "but we were told that at a certain point in the game--once you've received a particular stone--you can force your way into another player's game and vice versa."

Still wish Suikoden was on Ps3 store in europe. When i move out i will get a Ps3 and i will have loads of games to catch up on which is good, and Warhunt, i will be coming to you for a detailed list of RPG's (or check this thread again lol)

I was originally interested but Garin's comment on how it seems like another Disgaea seem to ring true. But initial reviews are promising.

Interestingly the game seems orientated around performing your best so you can sleep with various women.....

@Borderlands... The new expansion is coming out on the 24th Em. Going to resolve a lot of issues, and bring a whole new island in.

Yea i will probably give it another look after the MW2 hype dies down and other new games are done. In the new year then lol.

But its good to have a game to go back to.

Definately play the BL through mate. 2nd playthrough is actually a lot better as the challenge scales.

And there is a distinct allure to hunting down better weapons.

It is a great game, really loved Borderlands but did become a bit tedious after a while. Still was fun online and i enjoyed what i played of it, got to like level 28 before i had MW2 and everything else seemed less attractive lol

I need to really get my teeth into FF news and other games, just been looking at MW2, L4D2 and Assassins Creed. They are hot on my list (still choosing which one to pre-order for my GAD claim lol)

Well i enjoyed Star Ocean on the Xbox, it was a great game but i think Tales of Vesperia appeared too soon for me to appreciate the game fully. (ToV s amazing, is that going on Ps3?)

But its good news for you Sony guys!

Just reading back, FF news is great, that will be a must buy lol

Great news. Star Ocean: Last Hope (International) is being released on PS3. It's basically an extended edition of SO: Last Hope. So yay :D

Thought Emmie would appreciate it.

On another note, Dragon Age is almost out. �8 for a DLC already? It's not even out!!

I heard the first one was a PC game that got ported to Ps2, but was pretty horrible.

Not a ps3 game but i figured its still an RPG!

Magna Carta II - anyone know anything about it?? Could do with a nice RPG but i do not really want one that will be played once and left.

Quite keen on it too but susposedly quite hard and unforgiving. You die and its back to the start of the level, I thought we left that type of game design behind 10 years ago. Not sure I have the patience or attention span for that sort of thing anymore.

Yeah, getting the PC version as its out at the end of Oct. Its Bioware, seems inconceivable it'll be anything but great.

Well I'd never heard of it until yesterday so I was looking at the videos on youtube. Definitely looks more Disgaea than FF7.
From the same developer as Cross Edge apparently. So I think I'll pass on this one.

No apparently (and rather annoyingly) number 9 was the Ds version released in Japan, whilst 10 is planned as a Wii game!!

They released a Dragon Quest most recently for the DS so I assume there is something new in the pipeline for PS3.

And you may have noticed that I constantly mention an upcoming Level 5 release that has me drooling......I'll let you figure out which :D

Also Ninokuni coming out for DS, although Europe or not I dunno. Here

I'm sticking to my sulky childs opinion of "No it was not!"

They have never been sell outs before.... Why I liked them, as a company not just for the games. They refused to bow down to release date pressure etc etc (what FF game have you seen with major glitches?)

Hence why they should keep it like that. If they don't I may consider losing faith in them totally....

They have already sold out to 360 (which I am 99% against), but they have always released to Japan first because of the loyalty factor. If they don't now, it's just another piece of evidence to suggest they are becoming..... well un-Squaresoft like
