As long as the extra characters, and options that would come with them, wouldn't detract from what makes Mario Kart so great, I think it would be a great idea!

Okay, just thinking of Link made me remember a thought I had a while ago. What if they made a mario kart with some of the characters in brawl or melee. Not just the original mario characters. What do you think

I think this game is great.
The subspace emissary is quite interesting until it gets to the stupid maze thing near the end, just to find Tabuu incredibly easy when its completed.
Classic is still fantastic.
Im liking the variety of different characters aswell, I especially like Samus, Zero Suit Samus, Peach, Zelda/Sheik and Kirby.
I cant stand Ike! He can't jump and he's incredibly slow. Jigglypuff is pathetic and sonic is really weak.

Had my first play of it today round a friends house.
To be honest, I can't see what all the fuss is about =( Is it one of those games you have to get good at to really appreciate it?

Ah right - yea i have owned every main nintendo console since the NES, and had every playstation. Never had an x-box..... hmm wouldnt mind one but then 3 consoles is a bit much!

I tend to pick games up at a reasonable pace, so hopefully it won't take me too long to keep up with you guys :)
I've just never owned a Nintendo console until the Wii, I was always a die hard Sony fan.

The bigger question - what character; new, old or unlockable are you most looking forward to playing as!?
I found a site where all unlockable characters can be seen and some look pretty good, but i used to be good with Pikachu, so looking forwrad to using him, also Sonic and Pokemon Trainer!
