Super Smash brothers Brawl. New details are out on Monday apparently. If you're anything like me (I really hope you aren't) then the primary reason you bought the wii was for this game.
Anyhoo, I thought it would be cool to get a discussion going about what kind of characters, weapons and levels you would like to see in the game.
So...... What kind of characters, weapons and levels would you guys like to see in the game?

Well, ideally Sonic, but he may not appear in this one, though there are hints.
Looking at the screenshots so far, it's looking good, though the controls worry me a little if NGamer is to be believed.
Of course, a 4 player online mode would be even better...and Nintendo have said that it will be included:
"Even better, the game will be fully online playable in addition to featuring a robust multiplayer mode. "My plan is to include Wi-Fi connection compatibility and online functionality. One of the primary reasons Super Smash Bros. Brawl was created was that Nintendo, when taking Wii online, wanted to have Smash Bros. to do that," added Sakurai." (From IGN)

Nothing yet, but not sure what they'll announce that they haven't already, other than if Sonic and any other characters are involved. Online play is a definite already (making it one of my must-have games straight away).

I really hope they zone out the clone characters and make way for some cool alternate costumes instead of colours.

I'm pretty sure I read that Samus will have at least 2 costumes, so it's possible.

The gooey bomb looks like it could be alot of fun. I hope they bring out a cool new pokemon stage, the music will be amazing.

Now 'wack' is one of those ambigious words. It either means really good or really bad depending on where you come from.
Anyway, the game as a whole sounds great. The more stuff that appears on the official site, the more I like the sound of it.

Latest update shows that you can play Smash Bros with pretty much any type of controller available. That's pretty cool and should allow for everyone to choose a favourite controller.
Plus, it should mean motion controls with the Wii, but only if you want them.

having played Strikers Charged 4 player the other day, I am confident SSBB will be even more insanely awesome than I expected before, and I'm a MASSIVE SSB/M fan.

Never played on a SSB game before, but having seen screenshots, videos, previews... I think this is going to be unbelieveable, I wish they'd hurry up and release it.. best Wii game ever! (Ok, A bit premature, but still). I've just seen that you can throw a poke ball and a pokemon will come and aid you!

The game will be compatible with the wii remote on its side, the wii remote and nunchuck, a gamecube controller and the classic controller as well.
Looks like the Nintendogs Labrador is not a playable character. Amazon have got the latest release date as August 31st :( I wish they'd just hurry up and release this. At least give us some more characters that will be appearing in it...

The new levels are looking mighty spiffay so far. I'm looking forward to the second Zelda level and hopefully some of the past levels remade. (Come on Saffron City ^-^)
Also, the day and night system sounds totally awesome too, reminds me of the system from the pokemon gold/silver games.

The idea of playing a game at a certain time to trigger events sounds like a great idea. Hopefully there will be more than just the 8pm one mentioned on their website. It's a shame that we don't get it this year, but with Madden, Galaxy, Guitar Hero, Metroid and so many more this year I'm more than happy.
And yeah I'm hoping Diddy Kong is a playable character. Fingers crossed.

2008 is bad, this is the one game I really want. Deoxys are set to appear from Poke Balls, there's a great screenshot of it doing Hyper Beam on Dojo.

Don't forget: May be one of the greatest games ever!
heh.
Basically it's like a 3D fighting game but on floating platforms. Unlike other fighting games, the idea is not to beat your opponent into submission but to get them weak enough to smash them off these platforms.
All the regular Nintendo cast plus guest stars from other franchises (this time Snake from MGS makes an appearance as a playable character) are there to choose from and there are some screen-filling specials to pull off too.
Basically the most refreshing, original fighting game series ever.

Sounds interesting :) I see pikachu is available as a character too.
Well, I'll probably get this and Mario Kart (which I can't wait for). I do hope it's better than Charged Football, which by my opinion was real letdown.
