Recording and storing on a PC is always going to be far more flexible, and as you say you can stream to 360 and PS3 anyway.  The PS3 even allows you to copy the files on to the Hard Drive if you find streaming to be too slow or just don't want the PC on.  Or you can even use an external HDD with the 360 and PS3, so just a matter of unplugging it from the PC and taking it to the console.

Actually, according to several news reports it seems that you can....but then they changed it at the last minute.

You guys never told me about this, I think it's pretty good seeing as we're still using VCRs here. And you can even record while you're playing a game? That's gotta be good. So would I be able to record something on my PS3 and watch it on a PSP?
