If you don't mind a second hand GTA IV check eBay (you can always check with the seller first that the map is included ?).They go for about £12 delivered on there (for example item no.320421236659 has just gone off @ £11.52).It is also being released on Platinum in about 3 weeks time if you wanted a new copy.Noticed its up for pre-order at £14.73 at TheHut : Here
Shouldn't be looking to pay a fortune for this now TBH.

The only thing about buying GTA pre-owned is sometimes the map is missing.

Haven't setup a money account yet. I've also got it on the PSOne so if Sony do decide to bring back the BC I won't need it.

Sounds fair. You can pick GTA4 up really cheap pre-owned, £14.99 from Gamestation (I'm sure Pete will find you it even cheaper if you ask).
Have you downloaded FF7 yet?
Also, if you didn't already know (not sure if they prevent this from happening yet), but if you have any friends that own a PS3, if they log into their account on your console, you can download the games they've previously bought from the PlayStation Store free of charge. |

I got it sorted after 5 hours of trying to get the update to work. I've no interest in COD4 or any of those type of shoot-em-ups. Can't stand them.
Next games on my list are GTA4 (although I should probably finish San Andreas first) and Gran Turismo 5, which should be out beginning of December.

If you take it back, get COD4 instead (unless you already have it). Then get practicing with the online play before MW2 comes out. I've spent more time on COD4 online than probably any other game, ever (and I'm still rubbish).

I'm using my cameras usb lead to charge the controller. Works perfectly.

I wasn't such a fan of the game but I love the online mode and that gives it near endless replay value.

I didn't even realise I'd turned mine on when I first bought it. Barely notice the fan at all.

Yep you should have a little cable to charge your controllers via the console's USB ports. Annoyingly though, the cable (the one I got anyways) is about 50cm long, therefore whenever a controller runs out mid-game I have to sit almost on top of the PS3 if I want to continue playing while it charges!
I spotted you on last night, cheers for the add. How are you finding MGS4? I really loved that game, completed it in about a week and then sold it for some reason, might buy it back at some stage as I never really gave the online play much of a try.
I hear a few complaints about the noise of PS3s, but I can barely hear mine. Sometimes it cranks up the fan to cool down a bit which raises the sound a little, but it's rare and it doesn't last long.

Finally have a PS3, although I've not worked out a lot of the functions yet as I've not got a manual (2nd hand). I assume there is supposed to be a lead to charge the controller because I haven't got one, but my phone charger works perfectly anyway. Sorted out time, date, net connection and the Playstation network thing.
Even though my (hopefully soon to be replaced) TV is a load of crap, I'm still pretty happy with the graphics and the machine is so quiet I didn't even know I'd switched it on.

Hmm I have no idea what the official limits for these tags are.
Anyways, I've increased the character limits on our forms, and tweaked a couple of other bits. So hopefully it should work fine now. Let me know how it goes.

In case none of you had realised yet you can now list your PSN ID, 360 gamertag and Wii friend code on your Freeola Chat profile!
Simply visit the 'Update Profile' section of your MyFreeola/Gameaday account to make these changes and add this information to your profile.
