Well I was thinking of getting this as a lot of games that I am more interested in aren't out for a while, Fifa 08, Super Smash Brothers Brawl, Mario Galaxy, Sonic & Mario Olympics, Metroid, even Mario Kart. The other games I was looking at getting were Red Steel and SSX Blur, but i'm not sure. The reason I have this dilemma is because Mario Party 8 has been recalled from all stores due to the word 'Spastic' appearing. Is spastic to bad a word to appear in a video game?

Red Steel is a very average shooter at best and the multiplayer is very very basic too. Mario Party 8 is fun with friends but so dull alone. SSX Blur has a great control system and plays really well. I'd go for SSX Blur then Mario Party 8.

The dilemma is to whether to wait for Mario Party or buy one of the other two.

If your options are Mario Party 8, Red Steel and SSX Blur then take your pick. I don't see how it's a dilemma.
