not quite, it's easier. You don't need the computer part. Well, you do if you want to change the security settings and add a password to your homeplug, but then that's just a one off thing.
So...
1. Plug in Homeplug/dLAN to wall socket or (non-surge protected) extension.
2. Plug Ethernet wire between Homeplug and Router
3. Plug in other Homeplug/dLAN anywhere else in the house (again, non-surge protected)
4. Plug in Ethernet wire to this and to your console/ second pc/whatever else you have that takes Ethernet.
