Hey everyone!

Just had a thought - we all love a bargain. There is something satisfying about picking up that game you wanted for just that little bit less than you thought you would!

So why not have a topic that stays at the top of this forum, where people can post when they find a baragin. If you find a game going cheap on a certain website, or if a shop you know of is having a Sale that others might miss.

Just a way of sharing the Love! And saving some cash. Even if it will not be a topic that stays at the top....
ANYONE WHO KNOWS OF A PLACE AT THE MOMENT WHERE YOU CAN GRAB A BARGAIN, POST IT HERE!

Look forward to saving.

Should be an older topic from months ago somewhere, but we can use this one instead.  Annoyingly, they'll only make me a mod for a couple of forums at a time.   I'd like to be added for this forum so I can sticky things and edit.

anyway:  www.gamestracker.com is the best place to go for instant games bargains across all systems.

yea i checked that out after you mentioned it when i asked about Dragon quest, i never even knew about that website, and its a really good one for finding cheap games.

But then there are always times when you will be walking past HMV or something and find a chart game for like £20 - so hoping to get some good bargains on here, or even older games which people may have forgotten

True.  Also, if you know a game is particularly good and a bargain, then it's worth posting.

I've asked the staff mods to make the thread sticky.

Oh, and well done on the GAD today, though I'm suprised it's for the cheats rather than your GTA review!

I was a bit surprised aswell, but im glad i could get the win because going to get Dragon Quest for £25 off Amazon, seems a good price for a new game

Yea i have to say its put me off a bit, the main factor being 8 Hours!! now as an experienced RPG player i would imagine from what they say it would be very easy and short lived.

I think while i Love DQ, i will have to let this one slide and hope they make one for the Ps3

I think im just looking for an RPG, was tempted to get an X-box 360, for Blue Dragon and Lost Odessey, but then i am reminded that having a Ps3, Wii and X-box is probably too much.

Well back to the drawing board, looking at what game to get as i near the end of GTA!!

Conan for a fiver! lol, if your strapped for cash and got no games might be worth it, but then i dont know how good it is meant to be! probably a standard hack and slash so fun for 30 mins.

But hey, least this topic is doing its job, some good cheap games avaliable!

NOTE - Zavvi have got a lot of cheap wii games at the moment, some great games for kids and big kids! worth looking at

Conan is disappointing, but maybe worthy of a £5 note.

6.5 out of 10 on IGN.

Basically it's an old fashioned hack and slash, but with half naked women and lots of blood, plus a few simple puzzles.  Camera is probably the worst thing in the game, sometimes stopping you from seeing enemies.  The only other thing they complained about is the samey gameplay, but it boils down to: "a fun but predictable button masher with boobies."

Not bad for £5  :D

I've seen some bad things about Soft.UK not supplying goods but taking people's money, so be careful.

Actually been reading up a bit more, seems they couldn't cope with the rush at Christmas due to their cheap offers and have since been better at supplying customers.

I'm thinking about getting that Stranglehold Collectors Edition as it's only available in the US and has the full Hard Boiled movie on the Blu-ray disc, not bad for £14.99. (PS3 game is region free)

If I get it, I'll let you know what the company was like for delivery time etc.

Ive bought off them twice and had no problems on either order.Ive heard people complaining about receiving imported versions of games from them (which they should clearly point out when that is the case IMO).Even so they do have some real gaming bargains from time to time.

£3.00 off any purchase over £30 on game.co.uk.Enter code 'MODGAMER' at checkout basket. Not sure how long its valid for but it worked for me this morning.

This is particularly useful for pre-orders (you get double reward points).I just pre-ordered a £39.99 Xbox 360 game less £3.00 for using the code, less £2.00 in loyalty points and 11% cashback (less vat = £3.37) for going through quidco.com (well worth joining if your not already a member).Game actually worked out around £31.60.Next cheapest price I found for the same title was £39.50.Just thought I'd mention it.

and no more games for me for a while.  I just can't afford any more unless there are some really good deals on Amazon when my GADs come through.
