6 months down the line - I agree with Everpain :)

I have so much reading to catch up on that it would have been nice to have all the links here.  Guess I'm just gonna have to search backwards!

If no-one is going to update this, it might as well be taken off sticky.

....could you do it? I have no idea how.
I tried searching for "Deja vu SR" and "Deja vu Freeola" but they don't work.

All short stories entered after 35 were on Freeola.  I did leave you another message somewhere giving you the title of 3 or 4 of your stories that had disappeared.

We all lost stories (unless stored personally on your hard drive) when Freeola pulled the plug on the old style of forum.

The archives contain only the posts that were done under 'SR'.  Nothing was archived of the period between Freeola opening the forum in its original guise and shutting it down again before opening it for a second time in its current form.

Sleepy, I don't really understand how for some reason everyone else's stories got put in the archive, and only my worst possible, n00b-i-dellic posts were left. Seriously, I'm ashamed when I go in there.

If it's not too much hastle and you have the time, then go for it.  Would be good to have the links to all the old stories.

I really do need to set up a website to host them as a backup though.

Well that works :)

Would you like me to give you the file or even post the whole shooting match again with new links into a new post?

I still have the original file for stories 1 - 34 which are in the archive.  When Freeola opened the forums again the first time I kept a copy of the original document and ST worked out a way for me to alter the links but I kept these in a second file.

As far as I am aware the threadid and forumid are still the same - it's only the chat.freeola and sr archive bits that have changed.  There is only one way to check this theory :D

Thanks for updating that tnc.

Was going to add links to the original, but didn't have enough time.

Ideally, having time, I'd like to archive all the stories from the original SSC on a host site and link to them from here.

Ah, we make a good team!

Just to say I've added the link to every SSC entry now all bar the SSC7, as it's in progress, and I added Smedlos and his entry to SSC 2.

Enjoy
