Old Man Fog & the Headless Corpse There are 2 replies
Original Message posted by Svengali on 08/04/2008 at 1:49:41PM
One bright morning Old Man Fog was walking through the Woods on His way to the Village when He stumbled across an unusual thing: it was the Headless Corpse of a man slumped against the wide trunk of an oak tree. Old Man Fog observed the lifeless body with a raised eyebrow then continued on His way to the Village, and before long He emerged from the Woodland's eaves and strode along one of the many cobblestone streets.
As He approached the Village Church, a young woman who knew Old Man Fog came rushing towards Him waving her arms. "Mister Fog! Mister Fog!" she called (in somewhat of a panic), "Have you seen my husband? He went for a walk in the Woods last night and has not returned! I'm sick with worry. Have you seen him?" Hmm, thought Old Man Fog, scratching his eyebrows, "I might have seen your husband ... but that would depend on whether he left your house last night without his Head."

"As far as I know he did have his head at that time" Said the Woman, as she continued along her Merry way, old man Fog strode towards the Church where he was to meet with his best friend old man Frog, who was not a Frog but an old man, He walked through the Woods, striding past all the Trees all covered with headless corpses, raising his Eyebrow each time and thinking in his head "this is Slightly unusual" but continuing on through the woods Anyhow, As he reached the old door of the Church he saw the body of his friend old man Frog slumped against the door and in a blind rage he Dropped to his knees, A man came walking past "What is wrong" said the Man "Have you seen my friend old man Frog" said old man Fog "Not unless he is slumped without his head against the door of the Church" replied the man as he strode off into the woods
