Easily the funnest of the games on the collection, it has to be Ristar. Great graphics and gameplay for it's time. What do you guys think?...

I haven't unlocked Ristar yet...haven't played the collection much to be honest.
Sonic the Hedgehog is my most played of the collection though.

I'd have to say my most played is probably Sonic 3 & Knuckles, because of the sheer size of the game, and the storyline.

It's longer when you play S&K and Sonic-3 20 times each!
Plus, the Boss Music's good.

Hmmm. I've been considering buying SMC for a while.
*looks thoughtful*

I think that most of the zones in both sonic 3, and in Sonic & Knuckles have great music. And the credits for Sonic 2 have a great remix track of all the zones on sonic 2.

I got it. The games run at nowhere NEAR their original speed. It was horrible. I took it back. Stay away.
Plus it only has Game Gear versions - which are tiny, and look horrendous on screen. The Mastersystem versions were near identical but designed for TV sets. WHY didnt they use them?
Plus its a real pain to load and save. It takes ages to load the list.
Crap. Such a missed opportunity. I still have Sonic 1 on MegaDrive and played that afterwards, and its shcoking how badly it plays on the XBOX. I never did have Sonic 2, 3, Knuckles and so forth....It would have been great.
Is the GC version just as bad? Or is that one proper speed?

I've played Sonic 2 most. Probably because it's the only one I used to have on my Megadrive... :)

Yeah, I've heard the X-Box has some speed issues with SMC+. I'm surprised by that. Anyway, I've got it on the PS2 and I haven't had any issues and the Game Gear games are full screen.
The Gamecube version is pretty good but you get less stuff because it's been out for a while.
I mostly play Mean Bean Machine at the moment. That game is seriously addictive.

Its very strange.
Its not jerky - its not got a slower frame rate - and the sounds and music are perfect, and always in sync.
Its just slowed way down. When you watch the intro movie when you first put in the disc, and see Sonic and Tails running-take not of that speed. Now play the game.
Its down right obvious they didnt capture those movies from the XBOX Emulations.

I played Sonic Chaos on the Game Gear games and completed it a few days ago. Great game, but not very many zones. Although at times it may not be exactly clear where to go. All in all though, a pretty cool game.

The episodes of sonic & the comic book.
But why is this game so expensive if it's old?
