I bet Nintendo wont do that though. I can see them allowing you to walk around in 3D but I bet they keep the battole system and just make it look a bit better.

There is a new 3D Pokemon game for the Gamecube, and Stridman a wireless broadband network can be set up via your Revolution console :).

Not that I care, I have wireless broadband anyway.

2D was made for Pokemon.

I've even got bored of the 2D now, 3D would just add a bit of "oh that looks good" for the fight scenes that would still wear out.

Too many pokemon imo, 150 was nice, enough to know more or less each ones type when u saw them, have ur faves etc...but still enough for the people with too much time on their hands to collect them all :P

Now it just seems like "wtf type pokemon is that", then it starts to feel the game wants too much of my life.

The Pokemon Stadiums were pretty good. But ever since the Ruby and Saphire versions it all seemed to go downhill. I mean, Hey You Pikachu was no walk in the park either(except for huge Pokefans like my bro.) but nowadays they just keep churning out what they can think of. Not that that's neccessarily a bad thing. They've gotta make money somewhere. But they can at least, like you and probably Concept(if that's the name) have pointed out, they could at least take some more time to come up with more interesting Pokemon. Go on, Click Here!

I think no matter how polished and detailed the graphics are, they could never top the top-down 2D games(Pokemon that is).

Still, let's hope the new Gamecube Pokemon does better than Colloseum.

I like the top-down view yeh, hopefully it'll be kept in the DS versions. And I'm definately looking forward to the new Cube game which is apparently 100% proper RPG. If only Ninty had released such a game ages ago on the N64 when Pokémon was in it's prime.. they'd have made such a mint. Instead of Hey You Pikachu and the Stadiums.

I'd rather they stuck with the pokemon they had and work on expanding the moves.


There are so many pokemon, and only about 10% are ever used because it's obvious which ones are good.


They came a step closer with the special attribute each pokemon has, but there weren't many different types. I'd like to see it at the point where every Pokemon has at least one move that no others have, and all useful in different situations. So pokemon like Mankey, Fearow etc. actually become viable rather than 3rd rate punchbags.

-A proper online world to connect to. Meet other trainers in real time and chat.

-Human gym trainers and leaders. Good players might be offered their own gym or training hall space.

-The ability to join Team Rocket! Ever since I first cleared the Nugget bridge on Red, and that guy asked me to join TR I've wanted to say yes. I want to go around in a cool black uniform and steal Pokemon and stuff. That would be too cool.

-Online tournaments. Like a Colosseum mode, where players can battle for great real-life and game prizes.

-Character customisation. I want to make my player to look how I want her. Even if it's quite low-poly, something like PSO's character creation would rock my socks.


And I bet that you all moaned because of all the numerous remakes of Red and Blue. You know you did. Don't try to hide it. I know how you'd really feel if the same 151 were used again
