I'm gonna steal the old skool reviewing methods of OXM as I'm not in the mood for long posts.
Good Points -
* Single Player is orgasmic
* Co-op is orgasmic
* AI is...yup you guessed it orgasmic
Bad Points -
* Warehouse and head jumping are back seemingly unchanged
* No cinema or Hospital
* Proxy voice in co-op doesn't seem to work as well as I'd hoped
* Assholes in VS are back, didn't get to play Spies at all last night
Spies VS Merc is yet to impress me to be honest but I'm sure that'll change when all the people I know get the game today. Last night it was a case of the same old crap people not joining your server unless they can play spies, oh and already about 50% of the optimatch games were playing Warehouse which is seriously depressing. Oh and words can't describe how large and confusing the new VS levels are, it's gonna take an age to learn these things and the fact that all the levels have totally different kinds of objectives doesn't help at all.
Co-op however is sublime. We played through the first level which took a hell of a long time, the good thing was that the AI was constantly changing their tactics and suprising you around every corner. Favourite moment so far was when my partner was getting ready to slam a door open on a guard, to his suprise the guard used exactly the same tactic on him and sent him flying across the room.
So anyway excellent game so far, it's met pretty much all of my expectations already and I've hardly even scratched the surface.

From what I've read it seems to be pot luck with Importmadness. How you can run a company with poor customer service is really beyond me.

I've had my fair share of trouble with Import Madness, all to do with my DS. They really wound me up then.
Recently though, they've been prompt and reliable for my last few purchases (PSP & games, Wipeout Pure, Power Pack set) and not a whiff of Customs issues either.
They're customer service is still as painful as shaving your scrotum with a rusty saw though.

Meh, little let down.
Visually not a patch on the PC version running in all its glory, the frame rate is also considerably lower. Jack all HDTV support which is crazy.
Controls are better though for this type of game I feel and I never got around to trying it on LIVE so not a great deal else to shout about. Seeing as I have only played the Lighthouse mission there isn't anything else to comment on.
But yeah, so far as far as the Xbox version goes there doesn't seem to be all THAT much that has changed with the single player, a couple of extra routes to take but everything else just feels like another Splinter Cell game rather than something to really stand out above the rest.

It was shipped 2 days after release despite advertising ALL pre-orders will be shipped on release. 10 emails/3 weeks later they still haven't responded. Thought telling them I was ringing the credit card company on Friday if it hadn't arrived would make them reply but nope.
Will never use them again though, videogameplus.ca are excellent but they always miss the weekend after UK release and I usually get the games on the Monday/Tuesday after, will stick to them in future.
Anyone reading this though, never order from Import Madness, they are an absolute joke.

I've heard nothing but bad reports about Importmadness. Taking ages to ship things and then only shipping them after you contact them around 10 times. I know Bullett uses them and they've been ok but recently I've heard some bad stuff about them. And word spreads fast online.

3 weeks on, 10 emails later, still haven't got it from Import Madness. Their customer service is non-existent so I am going to give the credit card company a buzz on Friday and see what they have to say as I can't get a response yet they have taken the money from my account.
Awful company.

I once played a game on PT where they'd obviously hooked up a second xbox and used that to put a spy in play. So my partner just sat there doing nothing.
I took the penalty rather than give them their reward for cheating.

I managed to beat 2 spies single handedly a few days back. In the last 30 seconds I had no ammo left so I just span at them. :D
That was lucky because my teammate was some swedish ****wit who didn't even know warehouse had more than 1 sector.
He finally made it to sector 3 in the last 15 seconds. It was an 'interesting' game.

I've found the bst way to get a game on Spies VS Merc is create one of those squad things and do ranked games. As long as you've got a mate on you should be able to always get a game, though be warned there's a lot of real nerdy teams that'll beat you in a couple of minutes because they play the game far too much.

Haven't tried co-op yet, looks fun and also should double as a way to filter out the 'tards and find decent people for the online vs modes to team-up with.
Trouble is it makes people even more comfortable sticking with spies. Scum that they are.

It started off quite well but the further you get in the more you realise how linear and dull the whole set-up was.
Isn't a patch on Chaos Theory, couldn't ever see myself going back to it now.

The new knife move has certainly made the game far less clumsier and frustrating. I wouldn't say easier though, since it still poses a good challenge.

Heh, that happened to me in Rainbow Six on Co-op when I was waiting for a new mic. We were clearing out rooms near the start when I checked the toilets for guards. Then I tried to leave, but one of one of them blocked the door.
"We're not going to let you out unless you use your mic"
*runs around the toilet*
"We'll give your 5 seconds."
*rotates on the spot*
"5, 4, 3, 2"
*looks down on the floor*
"1. You've had your chance."
Then I get blown up into the cubicle.

Ubisoft obviously haven't made it clear to the SC 'tards that inorder to co-operate you actually need to SPEAK.
I gave up on the last one and just started zapping him infront of the mercs.
'Can. You. Speak. Now?'
no?
Ok
*zap zap zap*
'how about now?'
ho-hum
*zap zap zap*
Completely pointless set of modes with the amount of idiots online.

PT had three alarms and the enemies got tougher.
But the single player wasn't all that.

So I asume that means the alarm system in Pandora Tomorrow is the same as Chaos Theory? If it has the same system as well, I may have to get PD too. And yes, the game is easily worth £30.

Chaos Theory is brilliant. I hated the first SC, didn't even try Pandora Tomorrow, but this one is fantastic. It's just a lot of fun and I'm glad they got rid of that silly 3 alarms and mission failed thing, and it's good how you can take a more gung ho approach if you want to.
I'm only on the third level, the bank, but this is the first game I've had in a while where I feel as though I want to stick with it until it's completed. Plus it's a huge bonus having unlimited amount of saves.

Well I've completed the single player campaign. Excellent game ! Plenty of twists in the story. :-) Easily the best stealth game available. Now to put Doom 3 on with surround sound and get back to pooing myself. Getting through lots of pants cause of the game, my clothes bin is beginning to stink...

Another gooden was on co-op on the 2nd level. Threw some smoke grenades in a room and one of the guards says
"Hmmmm it look like somebody got some smoke grenades for Christmas"

The best thing Ive come across is some guard talking about how they were attacked by ninjas when they were guarding an oil rig, which is obviously a reference to the Oil Rig mission on the first Splinter Cell.
Then when you grab him the convo goes something like this..
"Woah! I knew there was ninjas around here"
"Look I'm not a ninja"
"How did you manage to sneak up on me like that then?"
"I'm the type of guy who will kill you if you don't.."
"Woah! killed by a real live ninja, can you use your blowpipe?"

I love the banter between Fisher and the advisors during ops, especially a dig on their first version on the 2nd level.
Fisher: Don't tell me. Three alarms and the mission is over?
Lambert: Of course not. This isn't some video game Fisher.
As for multiplayer, few of the levels take place on my 21st birthday. WOW
