I haven't got the MegaDrive yet, but have downloaded a couple of option files to choose from. Are they supposed to take like two or three seconds to download and be about 420kb in size?

There is/was a device called GameShark that let you connect directly.

My mate bought one and couldn't get it to work.

Max Drive seems to be a better solution.

Can you directly link the PS2 and PC using a USB connection or does it have to go through a Max Drive or similar device?
